They worked great for my application. I removed the bolts that were sticking thru both covers. Both covers snap on the bus bars but I wrapped the red one with red electrical tape to help hold the cover on so hopefully nothing will get under the cover to short out. Both sides of the covers are open for the wires to have access to the bar screws. I didn't wrap the black bus bar since it is being used for the negative connections. I probably over torqued the screws on the bus bars which I didn't strip out any of the threaded holes. The bus bars have double rows of screws but I used only one row. These bus bars were the size I was looking for.
