My son studied his heart out last year (2nd grade) for his class spelling bee. His teacher gave words that were not on the 6 page list of words. He came home in tears and heartbroken. Well a few months ago in 3rd grade he didn’t even study one word cuz of last year so I didn’t go to the school. He comes home with the FIRST place ribbon! Little smarty pants finally got his win and i couldn’t be prouder of him. Sad thing is though is that his expensive private school only gave out basic ribbons for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. In the winning picture I could not tell he won cuz of the ribbon. This bothered me for months so I went online searching for the perfect replacement. I was on trophy websites and they would have been about the sane price for a 12-15” high trophy but I didn’t want a cheap fake gold lightweight thing. Then when I went onto Amazon I saw this and thought now this will last and be nice and heavy. Bonus is they will send a free nameplate personalized if sold through Amazon instead of their company. It was a challenge but I figured it out I think when I pressed the “contact seller” the automated computer rep didn’t allow me to stare my needs until I pressed OTHER and eventually sent the message with my name, address, order number, and what I wanted on the first line and then the second line. I had to try different options 3-4 times until I could send my own message. I will try to update with picture once I receive the personalized nameplate in the mail. Regardless this heavy little thing is great quality and I am anxious to give it to him. He is such a well behaved little man and he doesn’t ask for much. Summer just started and he’s a lonely only child so this will be a great surprise. Out of all the trophies I looked at , this one caught my attention and I recommend it and love it. I believe if you contact the seller in the beginning before they ship it you can give the info for them to ship it with the personalized nameplate on it. Read the directions carefully cuz that link didn’t work for me either. I really love this trophy.

Great little trophy. Very sturdy with fashionable writing. Going to use this for school team awards. Wish it was a bit taller but will still work out great.
