Value for money
Works well with the Iron tablets. Have felt more awake and energised since taking them. Need at least 3 months supply to see/feel the difference.

Really smelly!!
I’m sure they’re great, they certainly contain loads of useful stuff, but they smell and taste hideous.

The Active B Complex+ is a good multi vitamin for women to take but it’s not ...
The Active B Complex+ is a good multi vitamin for women to take but it’s not a complete multi vitamin and even says on the box it’s to be taken with Active Iron as there is no iron in this one so relies a lot more on diet to also help with absorption. When combined with Active Iron, the price is exorbitant. One of the previous supplements I had been taking is https://www.amazon.co.uk/Natures-Aid-Pregnancy-Multi-Vitamins-Essential/dp/B00CXUTQ6O/ which contains 100% of the NRV of iron as well as all the other vitamins that Active does for a cheaper price however the Active vitamin does contain almost double the amount on a lot of the other vitamins. I’m not actively trying to get pregnant (in fact not long since had a baby) and the midwife said that as long as you have a healthy balanced diet then you only really need Folic Acid tablets when trying or already pregnant so a multivitamin is not really needed. I slightly prefer the size of these tablets to the Nature’s Aid ones. They are still big but easy to swallow and while they do have a horrible scent, if you swallow it quickly you don’t really get left with a taste in your mouth. So overall I’d only give it 3 stars. It’s fine if you’re getting your iron from your diet but I wouldn’t pay for 2 separate vitamins.
