A good Polish not just a filler
Great polish for fine scratches. I have used it on headlight covers (typically poly-carbonate), ABS, Clear PVC and it has done well on all of them. The depth of your scratches is what determines how course a polish you use. I start with a finer polish and if it doesn’t do the job then use a courser polish. Novus has a number 3 (courser polish). You always have to use the finer polish after the courser polish so you have to use the 2 polish again, but it is an easier means of telling which will work. I would be hesitant to use this on a touch screen as there can be invisible circuitry (indium tin oxide) very close to the surface and what the material is. Unless you know and understand the tech then usually best not to mess with it. Heating trinitrotoluene on the stove would be bad if you don’t know what you’re doing. It’s TNT. It does seem to leave some coating on the surface but it is NOT like many of the ‘wipe on fill type’ product to improve clarity that don’t last.. If you don’t have to rub it (or shake the bottle) then it isn’t really a polish. And while it might take a bit longer than the chemical melting wipe on type, you have much more control and less chance of messing up the surface. At worst (unless you go too fast and melt the plastic) you will end up with a clear depression in the material. I would like it to last a little longer before drying but in the hot Texas sun everything probably drys faster. After talking with the manufacturer they say that water can be used to wet the surface as long as you don’t dilute the polishing compound. This drill brush worked well https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003VIGPG6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Although these might work better as they don’t expose the polish to air as much and so it might last longer as liquid. I am polishing the inside of cylinders so needed something round instead of disk. For just headlights I would try these. https://www.amazon.com/Foam-Drill-Polishing-Inch-Buffing/dp/B076ZJMHB1/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1537911177&sr=8-3&keywords=foam+polishing+pad+for+drill

Works okay.
The Novus 7030 Fine Scratch Remover #2 is a reliable go-to for polishing out light surface scratches on plastics and acrylics. I used it on a motorcycle windshield and a few old gaming console covers, and it noticeably improved clarity and reduced visible wear. The formula is easy to apply and buffs out cleanly without leaving residue. The 2-pack of 8-ounce bottles is generous and should last a long time, even with frequent use. My only minor gripe is that deeper scratches require multiple applications and still may not fully disappear—but that’s expected for a fine-grade polish. Overall, it’s a solid product that delivers on its promise.

Based
5 applications on my camera's electronic view finder lens successfully polished the old hazy Anti-reflective layer right down to the glass. Its optically clear and like new! Love this stuff!

Don't Buy
I had bought this for my mother to use on her glasses. Money's tight right now, so buying new glasses isn't an option atm. It's a good thing she tested it on an old pair she had because it ate the indoor/outdoor transitioning film off of them (hense the "spotty-ness" in the pictures). It didn't even START to try to take the fine scratches out, despite following the directions to the T. We even tried letting the scratch remover set on the lens for a small amount of time, to see if it would enhance the scratch removing effect.... it didn't. But overall, if you have glasses, I wouldn't recommend wasting your money on this product, but if u still wanna give it a try, PLEASE TEST IT ON ANOTHER SET OF GALSSES FIRST! Because like I said, it really did eat away the transitioning layer! Thanks for reading this review 😉

Didn’t work on plastic reading glass lense
I couldn’t remember the stuff my father used to use to take the scratches out of eyeglasses so I figured I would give this a try. It worked on some of the tiny ones but the more prominent ones, it did nothing, and that was the majority of scratches on the glasses! I will have to try and find the pair I currently have from Foster Grant. The problem I had was that they came in a pack of 10 at Costco but there was only one pair that I liked. I finally found the online and they were charging more for one pair than I paid for the 10!

Great for acrylic windscreens
Removed scratches from my motorcycle windscreen. Made it look like new! Used a soft pad on a drill to apply and hand buffed with microfiber.
