I liked it this paper is thicker than the "cheapie" pen & gear Walmart brand I had previously purchased. It also has a little more of a bright white look than a blue white - if that makes any sense. I don't know how this thickness, color compares to high-end paper, but for a budget paper I'm pretty impressed!

**Q: What is the density (gsm) of amazonbasic copy paper?**
A: Don't know the density, but it's nice substantial paper.  Not thin.

**Q: Is this paper good for drawing?**
A: No, I would not recomend it for drawing, it doesn't have much of a "tooth."   It is used more for making copies but I wouldn't recommend it for that either as many pages in my ream had bent corners.  I think the discription did say it is "used" now I understand why.

**Q: Is this just as good as the HP paper?**
A: I was surprised at how good the paper is. It is very bright white and does not look or feel like a “value” product at all.

A: Yes, it’s recyclable
