Why did you pick this product vs others?:My 12 year old bought this Christmas money and has LOVED it. He plays with it often. It is durable and has withstood getting stuck on our roof twice and pulled down.

Built tough, functions well, good value for the money, flyability requires advanced knowledge for extended flights, average control, fun for young kids 9+. I have flown this for hours, charged the batteries multiple times, and have crashed every time it has flown. None of my landings have been soft and I’m still flying. Don’t fly in high winds, have your batteries charged, and fly in a wide open space free of trees. Don’t buy this and expect to be a pro aviator. Buy it to laugh and have fun each and every time it goes up and comes down.

If you're shopping for RC planes, you probably already know this is an abnormally cheap one. Is it still good? In my opinion, yes, but with caveats.The first issue we had was setting it up. It has to pair with the remote before you can fly it. Nothing happened for like 5 minutes, and the remote and controller just kept blinking. In a Hail Mary, I put my phone in airplane mode, thinking there was a slim possibility there was somehow signal interference. Surprisingly, that fixed it, and it paired right after. Now I turn my phone off before pairing it every time. Its an odd quirk that isn't mentioned in the directions, so I thought I'd mention it here.The only other complaint I have with it is the batteries. The battery life is fine, its the batteries themselves that concern me. They're just bare lithium cells, no case or anything. They're a bit squishy, somewhat fragile, and could burn violently if punctured. I only charge them where I can keep an eye on them. This is something you see with many RC devices though, so it isn't anything new.Overall, its not perfect, but the only issues I have with the product are common issues with RC devices that you may very well encounter with a product that costs twice as much.

Very poor quality. 1st time we used it the landing gear snapped off and the rear stabilizer broke. I cannot believe I fell for it. Save your money.

Fun little toy but not easy to use. It is very hard to control and adjusting the flaps is impossible. I would not buy for a child. A teen might be able to figure it out better then I can. It was cheep so not a big deal. It can take a beating and keep working

If I cannot fly my kites, I can fly this plain.Much wind and it is hard fly back or into the wind.With 3 batteries, I have more flight time than I need.Need a bigger open space to get use to flying.I may buy another one for back up. I will be sad when or if I lose it.It does take a beating. Had to glue a rear wing back on due to pilot error.

I was pretty apprehensive this would just break the first time it crashed, but have been presently surprised so far. My son has crashed it pretty hard and the only issue is the landing gear fell off. It's better without it anyway and to just throw launch. You definitely need some pretty wide open space to get the hang of it. Christmas morning it was in the top of a 40 foot tree within 1 minutes. No fun trying to get it down at 7am!
