A Force for sure
Although arrival took exactly 1 month from the ordering date till delivery the product is worth it. Print quality is excellent and set up toom mt less than 15 minutes from the moment I opended the box until I printed my first sheet. The wireless set up, email set up and scanner set up were all simple and connected quickly. So far so good.....

defective unit when received - very disappointed
I have purchased several epson printers over the past decade. I have never had one waste all initial ink cartridges during initialization. And, the yellow one did not even get acknowledged by the printer. Now, I'm out the cost of another maintenance box, along with all the ink. And, the printer still has never initialized.

A printer that helps save money
It has all the features you need. I like these newer models there also more affordable vs the older ones. The ink lasts a long time and priced pretty good for what you get verse other brands.

Awesome AIO. Ink included costs more than printer.
Got this for our office. Impressive performance. Comparing to older 4640 and 4533 models. It's great to be able to print color at full speed. Touchscreen interface is finally working as it should with a capacitive interface. Unit came with full-capacity T902 refills - a value exceeding the price of the printer. So it's cheaper to buy a new printer than to refill it. Not good. Epson please lower price of refills so we don't end up filling landfills with printers. Detracting one star for crappy pricing strategy. One thing I cannot get working is scanning from the ADF to a networked computer when initiating the scan from the printer - for some reason the scan bed is always used even if there are docs in the feeder. Must be a software problem, this works beautifully in the 4533 and 7620 I have at home. Please fix, Epson.

ink cost and availability are a concern
The printer once set up has worked fine. After 7 months service black and magenta were depleted. Replacements cost $60 to $90 each, so a set costs $360. This is ludicrous, so unless ink prices come down this machine will become landfill upon depletion of the current ink supply. I have not been able to print without all ink available, so clearly this is intended to sell pricey ink. Disappoint!

Not much ink ships with printer
Prior to buying this printer I asked in "Customer Questions and Answers" on Amazon what size ink packets came with the printer. I got a response from the manufacturer stating "The ink pack included on the package of this product is standard capacity and not High-capacity like the T902XL." This, together with a review that stated that full, standard capacity packets came with his/her printer convinced me to buy this printer for about $200 (a great deal, considering I thought I would be getting around 3,000 copies before I needed to buy ink refills). Imagine my disappointment when, after printing 137 pages of print, I got a "low ink" warning. I wrote to the manufacturer and it was then that they informed me that "Please note: Ink yields do not apply to initial ink cartridges." So, just be forewarned - shortly after purchasing this printer you will probably need to purchase 4 refill ink packs which will set you back almost $300. To be fair, the printer itself is a great printer - it give clear, crisp output and seems to function well. My only complaint is that it is going to cost me an additional $300 to get what I was lead to believe came with the printer.

Cartridges Cost More Than the Printer
Looks like a great printer. I was about to buy one until I looked up the cost or replacement cartridges. Bought a different brand instead. I would have preferred this printer except for the cost of the cartridges.

This printer has been a work horse. While the ink refils are on the pricy side, they pay for themselves in the amount of prints you get out of them compared to a standard ink cartridge printer where you would have to replace the cartridges multiple times to achieve the same print volume. In the long run the cost per sheet is much less than I was getting with my previous printer. If you go for extended periods of time between prints, this may not be the printer for you as you will end up having to clean the print heads repeatedly, which uses ink. If you have daily printing needs, then this is a good option.
