Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Edition - Xbox

I found Alan Wake 2 to be a fantastic evolution of the original Alan Wake. It maintains the same great narrative, with some key modernisation of the gameplay. In particular, it feels like they learned a lot from Control in how to improve how Alan Wake plays, despite it being quite a different game. And if you enjoy the narrative of the original Alan Wake and Control, you’ll be pleased with how AW2 ties in with those. Also, the fact that this includes the DLC is an extra bonus, as these provide some really excellent additions to the main game.

This is easily one of the best story driven psychological horrors, I had it on digital when it first came out and bought it again to have a physical copy of the game. It is quite different from the original Alan Wake but not in a bad way, I can't wait to sit down and have my second playthrough of this game. On Amazon service for delivery, the game didnt show up and I had to wait a few days before they would send out a replacement that actually arrived so amazon's service I would rate 2/5 however this is a review about the game so 5 stars, you won't regret sinking some hours into this game.

This isn’t a follow on from the original game. It’s even better. The graphics are really good and with a great style of game play you wouldn’t be disappointed when you buy this new game. The price is always high and with next day delivery it’s a game that shouldn’t be passed on or missed. I’ve spent hours looking at this game and when I bought it I was so surprised on how good the game really is. The campaign is so nice and easy to play. I love this game and I’m so pleased I finally bought it.

This game isn't like the original Alan wake in a sense where your just shooting at things in slow motion it's where your walking around in this video game doing things but you do have a gun with limited ammo to it. It reminds me more of Tomb raider and Uncharted those types of video games.

I'm not about to bring my own bias into this, inspite of me finding the story too convoluted, if you're looking for an unforgettable experience then this is the game all the way. You won't find storytelling like this elsewhere, and the integration of multi-media to tell the story are unlike anything else. The visuals are gorgeous and the ride is one-of-a-kind.

Great storyline

its an alright game not amazing as i bought it for my dad he doesnt like the fact you have to keep going back to the hq room and it doesnt work great with the games mechanics loses his immersion was his words but yeah not for everyone

Epic game with good story ( a little confusing at times). Great Graphics. and best of all Single player survival horror.
