It stopped retracting on second use. Emailed the seller as instructed by Amazon and was told they would send me a new one immediately. Vetsend then got back to me saying sorry the tether was now out of stock and now Unavailable. I ordered another one from Amazon so wrote back to company asking again for replacement. Told me out of stock but I have ordered one!! Went back on amazon and they were still selling them took screenshots of three different orders. Their customer service pretty poor, I even had to write to get my money back for item not fit for purpose. Great Shame as product idea is brilliant. As of today amazon are still selling and delivering item even though Vetsend are still saying out of stock! Bizarre way to do business

This cheap looking product with nasty welds and drab design would have been acceptable against much higher quality competitor retractable tie that I have bought since it promised one key advantage. And advantage it promotes heavily - that is the lack of constant pull. This is simply untrue. There is no nice or delicate way of putting this. There IS a constant pull.

I love the idea, but unfortunately it falls short in use. When I put it in the ground, and clipped my beagle on, he ran off and when he reached the end of the line he pulled the stake clean out of the ground. If the stake was longer, it might work better.

Even better than the last ones i bought brilliant colour of the cord so that you can see it. Unfortunately one of the metal prongs has broken off but i still manage to get it in the ground.

So much better than the usual dog ties. No getting tangled and perfect for holidays in the caravan
