Makes you look glowy
For a serum, this was thinner than I expected and more like an oil. First impressions is the packaging looks nice and 'clean.' The product claims to be 'all natural' which I like as trying my best to stay away from processed, man made things so much. There was a faint smell I noticed when I first opened the bottle. Hard to describe.. not unpleasant but not perfumey either. This disappeared quickly and doesn't smell when put on the skin. Only a few drops are needed so the bottle should last a month onwards, making it very reasonably priced. It feels nice on the skin. It doesn't soak in straight away so gives you time to really massage your face. After about 5 minutes I would say, it does feel like its soaked in although it leaves you looking 'dewy' as though it hasn't. Because of this, I wouldn't use it so much in the morning as I have combo skin and certain areas can start to look oily. So far so good with this. I have marked down a star only as I can't comment on the claims of the serum 'brightening' dark areas yet but I'm hoping with continual use it does. Either way, it does make my skin look nice and hydrated so I would say this is a good budget serum.

A light sweet oil that works for me and is definitely worth trying
In the box you get a small opaque white glass bottle with a dropper built into the cap. The bottle contains 30ml of product so based on a typical drop being 0.05ml that means about 20 drops per ml or up to 600 drops in total. The instructions on the box suggest applying a few drops day or night to clean and dry skin by massaging with the fingertips. I've used around 4-5 drops each morning so it should last up to 4 months. The light straw coloured oil has a subtle sweet smell, rather like honey. It is slightly sticky at first but it is absorbed quickly. Having now used the product for almost a week it definitely has a noticeable effect on improving the appearance of facial skin, making the skin tone appear more uniform, soft and more radiant. I would not go as far as say it glows, but it's definitely smoother, softer and feels healthier. I'm guessing the added 12% Vitamin C plays a big part in this. There's also 1% Vitamin E and 0.5% Ferulic Acid, a natural antioxidant found in plants that apparently can reduce the appearance of blood vessels under the skin as well as controlling melanin. For the price point, the ingredients, the overall presentation and the results so far, I would definitely recommend giving this product a try. Don't let the slightly stickiness put you off, personally I haven't been left with a tacky face and my skin feels great.

Nice oil 👌
Pleasantly surprised by this oil as a skincare junkie. The packaging is very pleasant to look at, looks like a higher end product. I like the mixture of Vit C, E & Ferulic acid. This is safe to use in the day too as all ingredients in it can be used prior to sun exposure. Just be sure to use an SPF as the ingredients in this can be broken down by sun exposure so you’ll want to seal in the goodness if you’re going to be out and about. This is great to use at night too. I want to try this in conjunction with my Retinal to see how they go together. The smell is not my favourite, it’s a bit musty but it’s not too strong so I can deal with it, it doesn’t linger too much either. I’ve been using around 3 drops on my face, 1-2 on my neck and 2-3 on my décolleté. It’s nice and slippery so it works in easily, it’s not a dry oil. It dries down pretty quickly and goes a bit tacky. I finish up with a moisturiser which negates the tackiness and I’m left with a nice glow. This has seemed to even my skin tone too. Very pleasantly surprised with this. Decent sized bottle and decent price point too! I admit I haven’t had time to research the company yet but from other reviews they seem to be fairly new. Very grateful to have been able to try this & I can definitely recommend you give this a go. Always go low & slow with skincare if you’re not sure what your skin can take. Mostly all skin care is trial and error.

Love it.
The consistency is super lightweight, easy to spread, and absorbs fairly quickly without leaving behind a tacky or sticky residue. It dries into a sunscreen-like finish, slightly dewy but not so much that it makes my face look oily. A little goes a long way so I only really need to use 1-2 drops for my whole face. I have sensitive acne-prone skin and haven’t experienced any irritation or redness so far. I usually apply my salicylic acid first, then I wait about 10-15 minutes to ensure that it’s fully absorbed before moving onto this. I’ve been using it daily in the evening for a week only and it’s already made quite a difference to my face. My skin feels softer and more even than it did before adding this to my skincare routine. It has a subtle chemical smell that isn’t overpowering and doesn’t linger after being applied (but it’s perfectly normal for Vit C serums containing ferulic acid to have strong unpleasant smells so I’m not worried about that).

I didn't see my skin illuminate or glow but it did feel sticky and tacky 😒
This Lapéras 12% Vitamin C + E + Ferulic Acid Glow and Firm Face Serum has 23 ingredients and makes so many claims such as: "it helps reduce the appearance of dark spots and loss of firmness while promoting a radiant complexion". So, according to its claims, it is good for aging, dry and sensitive skin as well as brightening, scar healing, eliminating dark spots, reducing redness and it doesn't contain any harsh alcohols, common allergens, fragrances, oils, parabens or sulfates. It is vegan, cruelty-free, and reef safe. Here's what I found... It has a runny consistency that glides across the face easily. However, it leaves behind a tacky film. The texture of this serum is non greasy and it doesn't have that stickiness to the touch before applying but because of its high concentrations of hyaluronic acid, it can leave the skin feeling very sticky. Even when it dries and is absorbed on the face, the stickiness doesn't entirely go away and you're left with a tacky feeling face. I hate that sticky feeling on my face, it makes it feel like something or everything is going to stick to it and I can even feel a single hair touching it. More so, it feels dirty. Practice makes perfect, or leaves my skin less grotty feeling - I found that applying it on damp skin goes a long way in dealing with the stickiness. It is also better to apply your usual moisturiser on top as that will seal hydration into the skin and help the vitamin C and hyaluronic acid absorb correctly. It's only been 2 days and nights that I'm using it and thus far I have seen no difference in my skin tone or it brightening, firming... nor is there a glow or sheen when applied to my face. Fair is fair and it's early days for results on 60 year old skin but I feel I must point out that it hasn't caused any undesirable effects other than the glue face which I hope I've sorted and not diluted the ingredients. As it's too early to see any changes, I'll persist with it. It comes very nicely packaged and boxed.

Very likeable all round, hopefully the results will be very likeable too!
What you see in their product listing photos is what you get. Comes in an opaque glass bottle with a pippet, feels really posh. I did a test and it was a bit cooling and slightly stingy as soon as I put it on the back of my hand, but I guess that means it is 'doing something'... A tiny pippet droplet covered the back of my hand so this little bottle with go a long way I think! takes about 30 seconds to sink into the skin, it then leaves a slight sheen - you know you have something on your skin. I am going to try this for a couple of weeks, I have a few 'problem' areas that need a good quality skin product and this might just fit the bill, we'll see... But, what clever marketing, the brand looks so slick and posh yet safe and 'clinical', must've spent a bomb on their marketing to get this brand looking so good. Digging deeper as I've never heard of 'Laperas' before, seems to be a new brand looking at their storefront, lots of products with no reviews. I looked at their website too, also looks new and a bit basic, says all the right things, so they must 'know their stuff'. It says made in Turkey on the box, so they are all for the french look, but they manufacture in Turkey. Watch this space, if I have positive results, I will update in a few weeks - I have high hopes. Price at time of this review was £14

Laperas Vit C and Ferulic Acid Serum - the smell is definitely not for me.
I’ve used both Vt C serums and a Ferulic Acid serum from another well known brand before and liked them, so was keen to try this serum. They’re both ingredients that can help with brightening. Vit E is great for the skin too, but I think it’s often added mainly as a preservative. This serum is runny in consistency and clear in colour. It goes on the skin nicely and absorbs in very quickly - it is a tiny bit sticky, but not greasy. Moisturiser goes on top well. About the fragrance though, I just can’t do it. Some people will love this, but I sadly cannot get beyond it. It smells exactly like honey. And I very much dislike honey. To that end I just can’t put it on my face, I’m going to see if I can get away with it on my boobs - they always need skincare. If I suddenly get glowy boobs then I know it’s working ingredient wise. I’ve given 4 stars as the product itself in consistency seems fine and feels nice on the skin, it’s a personal thing that I cannot get away with the fragrance.

Subtle scent, good value
This is a 30ml opaque glass bottle with a pipette dropper. The product itself is a clear pale yellow oily liquid with a subtle scent. The serum contains vitamin C & E plus ferulic acid. As with all new products for my face – I first tried on the back of my hand. One drop of serum was plenty and it applied and absorbed easily. It did leave what I can only describe as a slightly ‘tacky’ feel – but not actually sticky. If you use a moisturiser afterwards it isn’t an issue at all. I really like the effect this has on my skin – it does feel firmer and look brighter. I’m not sure about the effect on dark spots – as I don’t have any pigment, I don’t have dark spots. The current price of £13.99 is good value for 30ml which will last for ages.
