Me explain like cave man. Me like company. They make simple product; max 7 ingredients. Protein good for me. Me vegan. Protein vegan. Me need vegan protein so me buy from company. Protein powder gritty. Not southern grits gritty but baking soda in toothpaste gritty. Not deal breaker for me. Taste not vanilla. Taste vanilla soaked coffee filter. Taste over power all other mix-ins. Powder no like liquid. Powder cake up on side of bottle me shake. Me angry because me have to use finger to scrape bottle. Finger a mess. Extra step me no like. Me wonders what flavor doesn't have these problems but me have tried 2 flavors - same problem. Me finish bottle and wait until company improves Powder. Powder make great baking addition. No taste powder when baking.

its a 3-star taste rating. Actually, its a 1-star taste rating... BUT, it is way better for me than Whey protein! Whey protein breaks me out and I needed an alternative to supplement my protein intake. This is my second time purchasing this and I much prefer the vanilla flavour over unflavoured. It's not gonna taste amazing but it does it's job! I'll be a consistent buyer of this unless another company comes out with a nicer tasting, plant-based protein that is also affordable :)

This is the same quality and I’m most likely sure brand that Pura vida from SF carries only with their logo not bad at all.

Chalky and needs more sugar. I just add some sugar to it and it's not so bad.

Hard to beat the price per serving at around 90c for 25g of complete plant protein (if you get the 5lbs tub). I recommend double portioning if you're bulking. The taste is... too natural. If you've ever eaten truly fresh vanilla bean or have eaten vanilla sugar, it tastes exactly like that. It smells strongly of pea protein, but tastes strongly of natural vanilla. It borderline makes me shiver when I drink it due to the intense and somewhat unpleasant flavor, imo. The 1lb tub is a great choice to try out the flavor, despite its higher price per portion. It is not as filling as other plant protein powders like No Cow- but that's because it only has 3 ingredients and a lower fat and fiber content. HARDLY ANY FIBER! Shocking and disappointing, but stems from the simple ingredients list. Very easy to blend in water. It's about as hydrolyzed as you can get with pea protein. Just make sure to use enough water if you want hate drinking thick shakes. Lastly, using it in smoothies is a great and cost effective choice (if you buy the 5lbs tub) to get plenty of plant-based goodness in.
