Just home from a couple of days camping on Achill Island, County Mayo, Ireland. If you know anything about Achill you will know how exposed it is to the elements sitting right on the edge of the Atlantic.Ive never pitched this tent before and it could not have been easier, really simple to set up and took about 30 minutes first time with myself and an 11 year old, mostly because you have to tie on your guy lines, will be quicker after that.This is the 4M version and the quality of the canvas, floor and zips is very good, if looked after will definitely last for years. Inside theres plenty of space, we had 4 people, (2 kids on an inflatable double mattress) plus lots of space for gear and a cooler, and even a small blow up 2 seater sofa.The west of Ireland weather did not disappoint with a status "yellow" weather warning in place, a perfect test for the tent. It rained torrentially for the next 24 hours with winds up around 35-38mph. Not a single drop of rain got in to the tent and it was sturdy in the wind, there was some movement in the canvas but thats to be expected.Taking the tent down very simple, made difficult in this case by high winds, but still very very quick.Im extremely happy with this tent after a tough test, I highly recommend it. I will treat the canvas with Fabsil to help with water run off but thats just my choice.

Die Verpackung ist schon nicht grad klein und der sorgfältig gefaltete Stoff wird gefühlt immer mehr und ich frag mich wie das wieder zusammengeht. Also Platz braucht es!Nicht nur Platz zum Verstauen auch zum Aufstellen ist nötig.Das Zelt ist versatil und super gross - ideal für Parties aller Art und sehr hübsch anzuschauen. Das Material ist ok, aber nicht wirklich mit einem „echten“ Zeltstoff zu vergleichen. Bei gutem Regen mit Härte oder Dauer leidet das Material und dann muss es auch wieder total getrocknet werden.Also ich finde ein Zelt für Parties - aufbauend und zügig wieder trocken verpacken. Das sollte drinnen sein.Es braucht schon zwei Personen, besser sind drei die mithelfen, dann geht es binnen 30min.Das Abbauen ist wie üblich nervig und es wird nie die gleiche Verpackungsgrösse werden.Aber es macht Spass und der Preisgeht in Ordnung für so ein hübsches Zelt.
