Martin Svensson Home Rustic Sofa Table, Antique White

OMG.. I don't even know where to begin! I bought two of these! The packing was the very very best I've ever experienced from ANY company delivering furniture. Everything was packed packed packed and wrapped in meticulously. The quality was off the charts. ALL SOLID wood, all finished with care. No sloppy or shoddy workmanship. The drawers are even dovetailed!!! If I have to find one thing that was less than was that the drawer does not have metal gliders. They slide on solid wood beveled dowels, it's not like you can tap the front drawer and it will glide and close, you must slide it yourself. This is also required in some of my designer quality pieces of furniture, as well.The hardware is simple, solid metal and well made. I don't know how they can offer this at such a cheap price, especially for this quality. My furniture store wanted $650 for one end table... half MDF and half solid wood... and not as beautiful, incredibly crafted or detailed as this.I was hoping antique white( which is what I ordered) would be more white. Please note: it's not, it's almost like a creamy ivory with a very slight touch of very very light yellow. I'm ok with it, as I love mixing my cremes and whites, but if you want white white, this is not it. The top of the table is spectacular! If your looking for a normally expensive beautiful solid piece of furniture at a give away price... hurry and buy this before they are all sold out!

This table was what we were looking for, as we had a very narrow table between a couch and a chair, making it difficult for two people to share the space for a drink and a small snack. This table more than doubled the surface area, so now two people can share it easily- drinks, snacks, even a book or a laptop. A nice shelf at the bottom and the drawer are just added bonuses. It is a solid weight, not flimsy, and easily put together....maybe 15 minutes. Very happy and would recommend.

Instead of an end table, I decided to use my table as a nightstand, and it’s so beautiful! Thankfully, mine did not arrive broken or chipped or ruined in any way, and it actually arrived almost an entire week early. It was super easy to assemble; my sister offered to help, and she did, but honestly, I think a person could put it together all on their own. At first, I did think the price was a little high (at least for me), but once I saw it in person, it’s bigger than I thought from the pictures, and far, far more beautiful. (I wish my pictures did it justice, but it looks even better in real life.) It’s also really sturdy and strong. Definitely worth the price, in my opinion. I would say, if you’re at all on the fence about buying this, either as an end table or nightstand, go ahead and take the chance. I could not be happier, and I hope you’re just as happy with it! :)

Quality and the looks of this console table are pretty good.The first box that I received, had a leg that did not have the pre-drilled screw inserts missing - had to order a replacement box. This was unnecessary hassle of course.Assembly was really easy; however, one corner of the top came slightly dented - appears that the Pine used is fairly soft (or not enough packaging protection around the corners.Also, I wish the legs were solid - if you look closely in the pictures each leg is constructed from 2 pieces of wood making it an L-shaped structure. Also, the drawers does not have rails - so it's kind of awkward to move those.Despite the above issues, we like the console table for the two tone color combination and the use of nice, thick, sturdy (though soft) wood.

Putting the table together took about 15 minutes or so and that included taking it out of the box. All the pieces came with no issues. The finish is nice and the table seems sturdy. I really like that there are optional wheels on the bottom center. I put them on and it wasn't too bad moving it around on the carpeted floor. We plan on getting hardwoods soon so it will be even easier to move for cleaning. There are 2 drawers which run the width of the table. Both ends have black metal pulls that seem sturdy. They came screwed in backwards into the drawers. The drawer bottoms seems a bit on the flimsy side so I wouldn't put anything really heavy in it. I ordered the Antique Black and it is mostly true to the online photos. It's black with undertones of a reddish brown and some rustic, wear areas. Overall, we really like the table. It's a nice addition to our new furniture. THe only concern I would have is if you have small children or curious pets, just be aware that the drawers push out from either end and could easily pinch little fingers or fall out and the dump contents out.

I needed to replace my living room furniture and was not able to find anything in my area furniture stores. I was a little nervous to purchase online through Amazon. I am so pleased with the end table from Martin Svensson. It is very thick, good quality furniture. The style is so unique. I have had nothing but compliments from my family and friends. The delivery through Amazon was so easy and the delivery staff from Amazon is the best!!! Thank you Martin Svensson for such wonderful furniture!!!

We purchased the matching set of end table, coffee table and sofa table and are thrilled. Easy to put together heavy duty and look fantastic. Each one comes with large drawers for excellent storage. I highly recommend all three units.

Terrible table for the amount of money I paid. Drawers don’t fit right. It looks ok but big disappointment
