Fab book - teaches phonics and sound blending the same as my daughter’s school and my daughter loves the stories. Will defo be purchasing more of these!

I found this book just right for a new reader. The short stories are well thought out and use small words that a child beginning to read can attempt. It gave my 4 year old more confidence in reading as he could read a real book. I really liked the illustrations aswell as the stories themselves. It is an enjoyable read and would recommend.

Lovely selection of first reader stories. The illustrations are lovely and very captivating for my son. These have been perfect for his reading practice in reception.

it is very helpfull.♥️♥️but the last pages have biger lines , children need time to finish .

We love this book as it really helps in line with phonics at school in reception.Great value for money as you get many stories inside the one book which I think is great.Great illustrations and we are big fans of Julia which was a plus.

FANTASTIC .My three year old is a early reader and he lives the fixtures and the level is perfect for him beginning to read and having a love of reading ... and the price 0.91 p I was so surprised not just one book but one book and multiple stories . FANTASTIC

I bought this in the middle of January for my 5 & struggling 6 year old who seemed to have very little interest when we tried to help him learn to read. The teaching tips at the start of each story are so helpful. The songbird books are absolutely the best! I have bought a lot of different phonic learn to read books over the last few years & these are the ones that have made the biggest difference with both of our children. I am so happy to say that very quickly our 6 year old has now worked his way through 2 of the level 2 & is now on the level 3 songbird books. All with ease & is enjoying reading rather than being afraid of it. Some of the stories are quite funny the kids really enjoy reading them. We could not be happier or prouder. I highly recommend these books.
