Affordable and high quality
This is the third option I bought for the desired “mauve/dusty rose velvet” curtain I needed. Since things are never what they seem in stock photos or some person review photos I bought what seemed like the best three options based on reviews. The lesson we once again learn from this - cheap is cheap. COLOR: These Wild Rose color in the HPD Velvet blackout curtain panels are more of the color I wanted. The others were either too purple or too baby pink. This Wild Rose color is RICH and really does have a bronze undertone to is which makes the color itself look expensive. QUALITY: As for the fabric quality and construction of them these are by far the most well made. The fabric is thicker and lusher looking and feeling. It’s more velvet than the others which seem more like velour. LINING: The backing is the standard white blackout liner which is very well attached part of the curtain. HANGING: The hidden rod tabs on the back of the top were a pleasant surprise. After getting the other three budget velvet curtains of another brand whose tabs (made of many strings and not even spaced) were so horrible I felt like literally any other type of hidden tab would be better. When I opened these I may have possibly gasped. Not only were they totally even and properly places in each end - they were made of the same velvet fabric as the front of the curtain panel. Hallelujah.. this was real quality. I immediately packed up the previously tried ones and put these on my windows then stood back and admired how perfectly placed the tabbed pleating at the top looked. SUMMARY: If you are looking for velvet curtains I’m going to highly suggest you stop being super cheap (like I attempted) and spend a little more on these HPD. You will save your sanity for versions reasons. These are gorgeous and glamorous. If you’re looking at velvet curtains you know that’s what you’re hoping for! PHOTOS: Last photo of hung drapes have this specific panel on the right side. Cheaper brand on the left side.

Super stylish and high quality
These curtains are legit! The quality is remarkable for the price. All the seams are turned under and there is interfacing for body- almost like a custom drape. The fabric is a nice weight and super soft to the touch. They definitely needed a good ironing ( through a cover cloth) out of the box. I’m glad I got a heavier duty rod, cause these are a smidge on the heavy side- but nothing too crazy. I purchased the green velvet and the color is rich and deep. I prefer the unique look of using the hidden tabs to hang, but the pocket looks good too- probably a personal preference. The only thing I didn’t realize was that they are dry clean only. Let’s be real, I don’t wash my curtains as often as I should. But I don’t know that I’ve ever dry cleaned curtains. We’ll see. But I highly recommend these curtains if you want soft-to-the-touch curtains that make a stylish impact on a room.

These are top notch! No bamboozle.
*Edit 12/18: we’ve added more to our place (1st floor apartment in nyc, so due to the buildings amplifying the wind, no matter how well insulated or how new or fancy your windows are? The winter wind is basically Satan blowing you a loooong kiss..) After annoying people with my draft/no draft “game”, both my parents’ respective homes and my sister in law have decked out their homes with these, and in one instance, these replaced other, practically brand new, velvet curtains from a different brand. And those curtains were actually pretty great at keeping drafts at bay, but these are just that much better.* I'm pretty "house proud", and don't like to skimp on quality, so I was nervous to buy curtains online since it's hard to tell the true quality of the fabrics (and many have that weird synthetic sheen to them) and colors, so I only ordered one panel as a trial. Immediately ordered the second panel after receiving the first! The quality really exceeded my expectations. Definitely made of true velvet (or if they're not, they're so close you couldn't tell the difference!) They look and feel much more expensive than they are. They're very weighty, and even though most our windows are pretty new and high end, there is a touch of a draft when it's extra windy. When these curtains are closed? Zero draft. (We even had some fun playing with them. Like a draft-now you see it, now you don't-game) We even tested them on a window with the air conditioner on full blast behind the curtain, and were shocked that it didn't let *any* of the cold air out through the curtain or from behind it...so these would be exceptional in winter for anyone whose home has a few pesky, drafty windows. We purchased the Dusty Rose color is quite accurate to the photo. It's beautiful enough for a formal room, but doesn't have that "nana's house" feel. Corny as it sounds, they really nailed the hue to appeal to sophisticated and elegant homes, as well as more modern sensibilities. And due to the weight, we didn't steam them before hanging because they're substantial enough to de-wrinkle on their own in a day or two. Will definitely be purchasing more for some of the windows we've yet to replace, and buying a bunch for my mom's 100+ year old house, with mostly original windows, to cut down on yearly battle between drafts and the heat. Definitely worth every penny, and so good we anticipate our heating costs to go down a bit this winter. ...the fact I'd even write this long, enthusiastic review speaks to how perfect these are because I'm pretty lazy and not prone to writing love letters to inanimate objects :) Tl;dr: get em.

Great quality
These curtains are beautiful. They are thick and soft and block quite a bit of light. I bout another pair for the guest room and will buy more.

Luxurious, Darkening (not blackout)
These are two 100W x 96L panels (Au Lait Creme color). I am glad I went with the 100W instead of a smaller width option. The window in this image is about 75” width and these two 100W panels allow for full window coverage and leave sufficient excess fabric to let the curtains hang nicely when they’re fully closed. I recognize the 100W option is quite a bit more expensive than the smaller width options, but if you’ve got anything larger than a standard 1 pane bedroom window then you’ll be happy you spent the extra money on the 100W size. This bedroom wall is a standard 96” height and the 96L curtain works perfectly for a floor-to-ceiling look. If I hung the bar just an inch higher the curtains would perfectly kiss the floor. Instead, I hung the bar a little lower and as a result these curtains are gently puddling on the floor. I prefer the curtains to “kiss” the floor, but the “puddling” look in this little girl’s nursery is nice and I think I’m going to leave it this way. If you prefer the kiss look or the puddling look and your ceilings are at least 96” then these curtains will work for you. The velvet fabric has a lux feel. These curtains are heavy which gives them a high quality feel. I was also satisfied with the quality of the hanging options along the top/back of the curtains. I hung these curtains onto the bar using the tabs on the back of the curtain. I had curtain rings/hooks but I decided to hang these by the curtains’ tabs on the back so that the curtain sat up higher on the bar and less fabric puddled on the floor. These curtains will work well however you choose to hang them (e.g. on rings+hooks, or by putting the bar through the curtains’ bar sleeve). The curtains arrived in excellent condition, they weren’t wrinkly or tarnished in any way. I wish the curtains did a little more to darken the room. They are advertised as room-darkening, and I didn’t pick the darkest color option to begin with, but I’m not sure these curtains will get the room dark enough for my baby’s daytime naps. Since the curtains are properly advertised as “darkening” and not “blackout” I think this product otherwise meets all my expectations and it gets 5 stars.

Beautiful Velvet Curtains
Best window treatments online. I used the Heritage Plush Velvet and the Faux Linen to dress all of my windows in my new home. Consistent colors. Flawless fabrics. Beautiful stitching. Perfectly weighted. Well worth the investment. Will enjoy these window treatments for many years!

Good Quality
Great quality thick curtains and the color was beautiful. I bought the spiced rum. My issue was with the packaging. I ordered a set of curtains twice and both times I was sent an opened package that was the wrong length and color. Other than that the curtains are great!

A Steal!!
Beautiful and not too expensive. They are thick and a little heavy. Great quality. Exactly what I was looking for. I plan to buy an additional set, but a different color.
