Good padding and stays put
This has good padding and it stays out when I'm exercising. I used my dumbbells at each end to make it lay flat. Once it's flat it's good to go. I won't be rolling it up again as it's in my home gym.

Just what I needed
Just the right thickness and density, with enough texture to not slip when sweaty; it's perfect for my use.

Soft and Beautiful
My daughter uses this yoga mat for stretching in gymnastics. She loves how soft it is on her feet and the beautiful design. The fabric is a little harder to wipe clean of sweat than a regular yoga mat but it can still be cleaned. When it arrived, there was no offensive odor that can sometimes occur when products are wrapped in plastic. It rolls out and in easily and for the most part, flat. Edges took a while to set flat but they do now with constant use. The storage bag is nice, it even has a loop for a hook to hang it BUT doesn't have a shoulder strap, which would be nice to have going back and forth to practice. Overall, good solid yoga mat.

Nice Big and Thick Foam Yoga Mat
I have recently cleared out my basement for use as a home gym. I have a couple of weight benches down there, free weights, a handful of resistance bands and accessories, and a TV for workout videos. I also have a gym membership that I still use while trying to get in the habit of exercising in my basement. Essentially I’m trying to build my gym out to be able to mimic what I do at the gym, as best I can on a budget and limited space anyway.I like the support of the concrete floor for jumping calisthenics, but lying on the floor for sit-ups, pushups, stretches, yoga (if I ever get into it), etc. is cold and hard. I think that it would be great to use on carpet as well.So I like this mat. 6’ x 4’ in size, 1/4 inch thick, and I weighed it at 4.4 lbs. It’s thick and supportive enough for back and knee calisthenics. And it seems durable, and I didn’t notice any backbone-pain/uncomfortableness when doing some test sit-ups, leg lifts, or fire-hydrants.I can put this mat under my benches (or whatever) to keep them from sliding on the floor, but I plan to use this at a calisthenics mat. It’s just long enough for me (at 6’1”) to do pushups with feet and hands on the mat, and plenty wide for me, or anyone. It keeps my entire body off of the cold concrete during lying exercises, and hefty enough to stay put on the floor. The wavy texturing on the bottom does a good job at keeping the mat in place. Yet it still light enough to drag it over/in-place if I need to.The suede fabric (not leather) is nice and soft, and seems really absorbent. Given the absorbency of the fabric, I can’t see wiping all of the sweat off of this thing, though maybe as a once-over….but I can see me occasionally dragging it outside an spraying it down with the garden hose. This mat is much wider than most yoga mats, and a little unwieldy to roll up, but not too bad. And it comes with roll straps and a carry/storage case.I generally prefer solid designs, but I like the starry sky design on this mat. Its’ blue, the foam bottom is light purple. As a side consideration, given the general size of the mat, the softness of the top, and even the starry sky design, I could easily see this as a kids’ play or nap mat.Bottom Line:Great mat for yoga, calisthenics, or even as a kids’ mat. It’s a nice addition to my home gym.

Huge and kid approved
I got this for our basement "gym" so when I'm trying to workout and my daughter wants to play, there's hopefully enough room for both of us, since she always wants to be on my mat with me, not on her own mat.We didn't think it was too slippery. I don't think I'd bring this to my hot yoga class because it's so big. But for working out in your own space, it's great.7 year old daughter for scale hahaThe Velcro straps to hold it when you roll it up-- not my fave thing because they want to grab on my workout clothes. Otherwise i like it a lot

Great, has turned into a living room rug
I got this to use for acro-yoga outside, since it's larger than a regular yoga mat-- it's basically same length as a regular yoga mat, but double wide. I don't take it with me for acro yoga, but I do leave it setup on my cement floor instead. It looks cool, is padded enough to save my knees from the cement, and provides a good movement space. Did I mention that it looks cool and is comfortable?I have a dog, and it vacuums well enough to clean. It also hasn't shown much in the way of wear or tear after two months of constant use (dogs with claws, shoes, yoga, etc), so it's more durable with the coating than a normal rubber yoga mat.

This yoga mat is a bit of a mixed bag...
This yoga mat is a bit of a mixed bag...PROS:- the size is FANTASTIC - I'm 5'6" and not a super advanced yogi, and it's more than enough mat for me to move around and do All The Things without having to reposition my body a thousand times- the underside of the mat stays put firmly on hard flooring - no slipping!- the galaxy art design is super pretty- the mat is not super stretchy - so if I'm doing something like downward facing dog, I am not stretching the mat like I do on some of my other mats (which helps my body to be a bit more stable)- it comes rolled up with two nice velcro straps AND a nice polyester cinch storage bagCONS:- the top of the mat is soft, but I don't think it's real suede - it doesn't really feel thick enough to be suede, but I would definitely call it "sueded" or "suede-like"- because the top of the mat is not a standard mat surface, I have no idea how I would actually clean it without destroying it- using the mat when I am cool and dry works just fine, but I don't feel nearly as much "grip" to the mat's surface when I start breaking a sweat- because it's big, even when rolled up and stored in the carrying bag, it's not a good mat to take back and forth to a gym or public yoga classes (but would work fine for in-home use)To be honest, now that I know that yoga mats come in super-size models, I may keep my eye out for a mat of this size (but without the sueded top) to replace my smaller mats because I really like having the extra space.

sturdy and thick
This is a fantastic mat for doing yoga outside. I don't even bring it inside when it rains. I just lit up and keep it in the bag that it comes with. You simply cannot do yoga on a concrete patio with a regular thickness mat. When you do things like low lunge it would hurt your knee so much. I have tried that exact position on this matter and I feel no pain in the knee
