You might get an empty tube
I use this product on my dog at first while he was in the house. It was OK. As soon as I started potty training him outside he got fleas right away. This medication does not work. I also received a empty tube in the package. I don’t recommend this product to anyone. Please be aware that your pet will get fleas.

Topical Flea Remedy at a Lower Price
We've used this product on both of our small dogs for several years between the months of April and October. It works as promised. However, I mush watch the girls immediately after application and up to 3 days before we wash them, ensuring that they won't lick the other's back.I will use this seller again because of their lower price (as compared to our Vet) and the seller's quick shipment.

Very difficult to open
The product arrived pretty quickly which was good since we had discovered fleas on our Yorkie for the first time ever. Unfortunately, the little tubes were almost impossible to open with my husband also working at it. I did read the directions first and we were following them. My husband eventually got it open and today (the next day) the fleas appear to be gone. So I would say the medication is effective, but I will not buy it again.

My county pound uses this
I adopted a dog a month ago from the Rabies Animal Control in Maricopa County and they are using this product on all their dogs. Over the first two weeks, I only saw two ticks get on him. One wasn't attached. The other was attached but not gorged. I hadn't planned to continue with the Provecta. I was going to use something else, but, this seems to work just fine. So, I'll stick with it.I've also been working on killing any ticks in the environment itself. Since I tried many products, I wanted to mention what worked - 7.9% Bifenthrin Concentrate. Note: This is not something you'd put on your dog but to dilute and spray indoor/outdoor in cracks and crevices. You have to be really careful with it, but it seems to have killed off any ticks in the environment, as I haven't seen a single one in a few weeks since I sprayed. If you are fighting ticks or fleas, another product I'd recommend is a set of very fine tooth combs. That way you can comb your pet every day to make sure they remain pest free and keep on top of it.Anyway, I give Provecta a 5 since it does have some repelling power and no ticks have gorged themselves since he's been on it. That's super important because in the life cycle of a dog tick, they lay eggs after that last gorging stage. They lay somewhere between 4,000 to 6,500 eggs and then die. If that happens in your house, you can have an infestation before you know it. So, this is a great product, but if you've seen any, you also want to treat the environment and really keep on top of it.
