good selection of games
There are 3 save slots for profiles.Once you have your profile you can open up the game play and options menu. The “options” allows you to adjust the volume for “sfx” and “music” as well as “training” the game to recognise your writing (mine had problems recognising the diference between “P” and “T”, “W” and “U”, B” and “D”, as well as “C” and “L” in the case of “B” and “D” it still does occasionally. There are 2 game play options:- challenge- quick play.CHALLENGEThis is the main playing area. You have coloured blocks, each colour representing a different game – each game occurs a given number of times. Completion of the first game on each square opens a bonus game which can be completed straight away or you can come back to them later.- word search – 140 games – opens a hangman or chain letters game after each one- Sudoku – 105 games – opens equate- Fitwords – 105 games – opens a hangman or chain game- Link-a-pix – 70 games – opens missing pieces- Crossword – 35 games – opens chain letters- Spot the Difference – 35 games - opens picture quiz- Codeword – 35 games – opens hangman- Silhouette - 35 games – opens jigsawAs you go deeper into the games the more difficult they get and in the cases of Link-a-Pix and Silhouette the harder it becomes to see the relevant numbers (Link-a-Pix) and touch the right section (Silhouette)..QUICK PLAYThis is the let down part of the package due to the extremely limited nature of the games available but can work well as practice if you have never played a certain game before.- Word Search – 24 games- Sudoku – 18 game layouts- Fitword – 18 games- Link-a-pix – 12 games- Crossword – 6 games- Spot the Difference – 6 games- Codeword – 6 games- Silhouette – 6 gamesAll the games in Quick Play run in sequence not randomly, so once you’ve reached the end it is easy to go round and round and round again. So if your favourite is crossword, spot the difference, codeword or silhouette then you are going to have a very short run either in Challenge (35 each) or in Quick Play (6 each). Each one has a total of 41 games in both sets..I use puzzle books when I go into hospital, or when I am too unwell to do any real work, as a way of getting my brain to work – games like this are perfect for that and work out significantly cheaper. The only unfortunate thing for me is that no-one has yet come up with a “logic problems” game on ds.

Not all its cracked up to be!
At first it appeared to be just what I wanted but unfortunately several of the games keep coming up time and again, especially in the quickplay section. The link-a-pix is not really suitable for such a small screen as it is often difficult to make out the numbers, though having said that I do like to do them but it is a strain for my poor old eyes! Also it tends to wipe out the last number on a section so when you think you have completed the picture you have to look for the missing number - very frustrating! The link-a-pix in the quickplay is a waste of time as I have never yet been able to see what the picture is supposed to be - it just appears to be random colour blocks. The main reason for buying this game was for the code breaker section which fine. All in all it is a good game to be able to pick up and put down.

A must have for puzzlers
Bought this game based on my urge for playing puzzles and on previous good reviews - and Puzzler World is pretty cool! It features 8 main games: Crossword, Spot The Difference, Sudoku, Wordsearch, Link-a-Pix (a sort of dot to dot picture game), Fitword (fitting different length words into a grid), Codeword, Silhouette (basically just filling in shapes with a dot to create a picture). It also has bonus games of hangman, chain letters, equate (simple maths puzzle), missing piece, Picture Quiz and Jigsaw. There are two modes you can play - either Challenge Mode, where there's 560 different puzzles to tackle or Quick Play, which Puzzler says is easier than Challenge Mode. When you successfully complete a puzzle in Challenge Mode, you win token hints (either 5, 10 or a bonus of 100 tokens) which are really helpful to solve puzzles that are a bit tricky to solve. And you can also play one of the bonus games too.Overall this is a really great game and if you're into puzzles it's rather easy to find time goes quickly as it is addictive. Even the Wordsearch game, which I usually hate doing in magazines, is made fun here!

Great - and goes on and on!
I love the variety of this game, crosswords, link-a-pix, sudoku, backwords, fitwords, sillouhette, wordsearch to name just some of them. After each there is a bonus game, which also varies and is timed. I had this for xmas in 2010 and I can pick it up and come back to it whenever I want, as there's no need to remember the story etc. Also, there is a save function where the game you are playing can be returned to next time you play, which is great when you really haven't got time to do anymore, but don't want to waste all the hard work! Particularly useful for the harder level (the Challenge level unlocks more on the Master level as you go through). Really good game for those who need to be able to pick up where they left off and don't have time to just sit and play at a long puzzle game. There are loads of puzzles too, so will keep you going for a really long time unlike some of the games which can be finished with an afternoon's uninterrupted play!

Very entertaining!!!
I bought this game because i have always loved doing these puzzles in the books, especially when i've been on holiday etc. It keeps your brain active, i always think !!! I was not dissapointed, it was great and the puzzles were not too frustrating, except the linx pics, which i didnt really get the gist of and had difficulty getting the hang of.I actually finished the game last night and this is one of the first i have completed. I have bought another puzzle one now, but it doesnt seem quite as good, from the quick go i had at it.I would deffinately reccomend it to anyone who likes doing these type of word games, there are approx 1,120 in the challenge mode, as you get your main puzzle then an extra bonus puzzle which is of a different type and there's the quickplay mode too. Also more convenient than pen and book, i think !!!Happy puzzling !!!!!
