Excellent and affordable
I purchased this for a cross country trip and I’m so happy with the quality. The bag is quite large. I was able to fit 1 checked bag size luggage, 1 carry on size luggage, a 1.1cu ft safe, and a few miscellaneous items with room to spare.I decided to transport this on my truck bed rack. Since it is a bag, we got a piece of plywood to use as a makeshift base for it to rest on the rack. It held up perfectly. 1700 miles and not a scratch on it. It was able to survive the rain on the drive. I didn’t notice any added noise. I love how much space is has as it saved me from loading up the cab of my truck. For the price, I was pleased with it and intend to use it until it’s run ragged. The only thing I’ll say is I didn’t trust the straps that are built in so I think I’ll almost always use ratchet straps just for the extra security but that’s personal preference. I have no reason not to trust the straps I just would rather have the peace of mind.

Waterproof and easy to use
We've been really happy with this product, which we've now used twice on long distance trips. It remains very stable on the top of our Honda fit, and it holds a lot of stuff. We've driven through rain and have had no issues with water getting in.The only thing that we haven't liked is videos showing people putting the straps through the window's rubber seal. Why would you compromise your car's manufacturing rubber seal for the sake of a car top carrier? How many times will you be able to do this successfully before your windows start to leak all the time? There are other solutions, and it may involve buying some additional straps/tie downs, but I definitely don't endorse showing videos with people compromising their cars for the sake of this product.

Okay
Worked ok even though they didn’t send correct amount of hooks.

Near perfect but not waterproof
I ordered this for our trip to Florida from Texas. It held up really well but is not waterproof.

Huge and sturdy!
I bought this for a camping trip and was shocked at how much it held. You can use it with cross bars or just on a naked roof. There are a variety of clips to use for different roofs, easy installation.I was able to fit 4 camp chairs along the bottom with large duffle bags on each side and almost everything else we needed packed expertly backed on top of the chairs. The zipper is sturdy and the straps hold it tight. No slippage. We drove 4 hours in Hurricane Debby and everything was dry!It comes with a lock to keep your stuff safe, it was a small combo lock so I used one of my own. Great buy!

Very good. 1,800 miles w/ zero issues.
We were a littler nervous about this with a two-door hatchback, but it was ultimately a very good experience. We drove from Portland, OR to Des Moines, IA, with zero issues. We did not exceed 72 MPH, so we were in the slow lane most of the way, but were happy to be, given the safety of our load atop the car. There is a small amount of shifting from round bouncing, but as long as you check your straps at each stop, you will find that the amount of shift is quite minimal and, sometimes, nonexistent. This product saved us well over $1,400 on a U-Haul, gas, etc. We did encounter a little rain, but the contents of our topper remained bone dry. We highly recommend this product.

Very Impressed
I got this for going on camping trips with my Girl Scout troop. The instructions made it seem like it was going to be difficult to install at first, but it was super simple. I installed it by myself on a large SUV without roof racks. We put all the kids sleeping bags, pillows, life jackets, camping chairs, and some backpacks in it. We ended up, unintentionally, fully testing it by driving in high winds, driving highway speeds, and taking it through a pretty severe thunderstorm on the first day. It never moved/slid and everything was dry when we unpacked! Then it was super easy to uninstall for the next trip!Definitely recommend!
