Cloverleaf Blanket Answer 10kg Blanketweed Treatment

I highly recommend this product - I recommend always testing your water first to ensure all levels are correct before using; then you won't blame this product when things goes wrong - always make sure you have good air going into your pond too! - I had really bad blank weed for years kept blocking pumps and causing pond to drain and spent lots of money on other products before I found this one - and I was skeptical - checked all the reviews carefully - I have 2k gallon pond with a 4foot white sterlet and lots of products say dont use with sterlets - but that is mainly because of the oxygen levels - I always use products with caution and have 3 large air pumps - I used in June and it made about 50% different, but might not have put enough in as wanted to ensure fish were ok, then after 4 weeks I put in another full dose in and that worked amazingly all blank weed gone - all pumps working fine and today 9th August I noticed it is starting to come back - prob due to heavy feeding - so I am going to put another does in! good luck

This product works, but only for 2 or 3 weeks and then the algae comes backMy natural swimming pool needs 3-4 KG per treatment so it becomes hideously expensiveI have found no other product which works as well and I've tried many

I originally thought that this was good value but I’m sorry I was wrong. I have a pond with a water fall. The fall was constantly get badly covered in blanket weed. I had read the reviews on this product so I went ahead a purchased a large bucket. Before I applied it it painstakingly removed as much of the blanket weed by hand then I pressure washed the remaining bits. So all in all the fall looked spotless. I applied the amount of power as per the instructions and left it to do it’s work. After only one week I was starting to see signs of the weed returning. After only two weeks the weed was back with vengeance. I applied more power again as per instructions but to no avail, the weed just kept coming and was getting thicker. When the water fall had virtual stopped because of the weed I repeated the original process by removing the big bits of weed by hand and the remainder by jet wash. When this was done I did not apply the power and just left it. Again one week in weed started to appear, two weeks it was worse then after 3 weeks the weed had again virtually stopped the water fall flow.Conclusion… this product is useless, save your money.

Used other similar products and this is the best so far but still has not completely killed it.It's a bit pricey but still looking for a product that will completely solve the problem.

as a koi keeper of 20 years, and a suffer of blanket weed for the same amount of time, I thought I'd give Blanket Answer a go. This year was particularly bad for the dreaded green slime so anything was worth a shot. I added the recommended dose and yes, my crystal clear water turned white! Next day I had some visibility, then on day two it was good enough to see the bottom in the shallow part of the pond and much to my amazement the blanket weed was dying back almost in front of my eyes. I added a further quarter dose about 10 days later and the weed is still getting less and less. Time will tell if it solves the problem permanently but if not i'll be happy to dose as required.

When I first bought this product about ten years ago I would only have to treat my ponds once a year, now I have to treat three times a year, something has changed, also this product DOES have a BIG effect on ALL water plants if used over time, also pond snails die, again over time, Cloverleaf is still the best on the market for getting rid of Blanket Weed but it does have its downside, so beware if you have a natural planted out pond, the plants WILL suffer in time.

I use this every two or three years. It does exactly what it says. I’ve previously tried other stuff but this is by far the best. It gets to work straight away and clears algae very easily, it doesn’t seem to bother the fish, and I wouldn’t use anything else.

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET RID OF BLANKET WEED IN MY POOL FOR OVER 35 YEARS USING THINGS LIKE BARLEY STRAW , RADIO WAVES , COPPER IONISATION, AND MAGNETISM ,ALL WITH NO LUCK. I PUT THE REQUIRED AMOUNT OF CLOVERLEAF IN MY POOL AND WITHIN A FEW DAYS THE BLANKET WEED WAS DYING OFF . WATER CLARITY ALSO IMPROVED . AT LAST SOMETHING WHICH ACTUALLY WORKS . NICE ONE CLOVERLEAF
