The mosses all come live and dehydrated. The product works great for terrariums. The moss was all healthy upon arrival/rehydration. No smells that indicate bad bacteria or mold when opening the packs. My only complaint: It seems that the "random" mosses are actually the same 4 each time: racomitrium japonicum, haplocladium microphyllum, hypnum plumaeforme, and eurohypnum leptothallum. Still quality mosses, just not "random".

I wish i would have gotten this moss sooner, I've been looking and seeing the price for just 1 moss and its always the same moss or maybe it was grass, but they were always $10 for 1 small patch. i love the looks of them I love the quantity of them, i love it comes with 4 different ones, it looks very healthy and beautiful, they size is very nice and 1 pack easily filled up my 10in diameter glass terrarium. i just hope i can take care of it well! i will be buying more from here in the future since i have more terrarium projects I'm looking to try building. this is my first go at making terrariums too so hope it all works out. i made lots of mistakes and even gave up before bum I'm trying again to see.

I ordered this live mixed moss 4-pack for a terrarium build and was happy with the variety included. Each sheet arrived with a slightly different texture and shade of green, which makes setups look more natural. The moss did look a little dry on arrival, but after misting and letting it sit under humidity for a day or two, it revived nicely. Pros: Good selection of moss types Perfect size for terrariums and small planters Comes back to life quickly with moisture Cons: Arrives slightly dry (expected with shipping) Overall, a solid purchase if you’re building bioactive terrariums or fairy garden setups.

I tried my best to revive this moss, but it looks just like it did out of the bags - dead! No growth, no darkening of the green color, nothing at all. This, as Monty Python might say, "is an ex-moss"!
