I use these lights to illuminate a meter dial on a piece of ham radio gear. The original hermetically sealed light was quite weak and could not be changed. This light served to fully illuminate the meter dial. Can be turn on and off to save the battery. Optional multi colored illumination with a twist of the barrel. Has three small batteries that can be replaced. One review noted that constant illuminated lasted two or three hours. Price is right to order several packs. Activate lights by pulling out a disposable tab. This item is metal and micro engineered, easily swallowed by a child. I don't recommend it for children.

Purchased it because good reviews previously. But disappointed when used it. No useful because it lasts too short less than 24 hours. If you just need it for a few hours it is OK to have, but still no bright light.

They are terrible. The light is very dim and they only last an hour at most.

Have a little ceramic gist whose tiny led light and switch went out. I just turn one of these on and place the ghost over it, is perfect and price is great!

these for out good for a hobby project

The light is bright and all colors cycle, however, the battery life sucks. Decided to test one before using them on a display. After 10 hours the lights stopped cycling but still gives a faint intermediate red light that does not illuminate. I think the light output/cycling requires a bigger battery. I like the idea of cycling colors IF the battery was strong enough to last a couple of months.
