This is an amazing kit that comes with all the little odds and ends you need to do a book binding project. The quality has been great for each item, and I have found a use for everything. If you're just getting started in this hobby I highly recommend you start off with this kit, it really helps you get into the flow of things.

Fantastic for beginners looking for a new hobby. Comes with all the little extra tools you need and the press works great. There are some wonderful tutorials on YouTube to get you started. It’s a really good feeling when you finish your first book :-)

For what I use this for it does its job. It makes squeezing books together really easy but it is a little difficult to know if I'm getting the pressure even. One complaint is that sometimes it is difficult to get the top part to lift up. It gets bound up on the bolts but it's a pretty minor inconvenience. It was easy to assemble, quality seems good so far, it appears that the hardware is stainless steel but I can't be for sure. For the money, it's hard to complain. I feel like it's a good value for a beginner.

Well made book press. Easy to put together and use. Highly recommend this item to anyone that needs to repair or conserve books.

Overall, great product with everything you need. But 3/4 of the wingnuts in my pack are dented/misshapen and will not screw on properly. I will adjust my review if useable wingnuts are supplied. Update: the seller acknowledged my concerns, helped me find replacement wingnuts, and still provided a full refund for my purchase. I very much appreciate their eagerness to resolve the issue!

It's easy to use and set up. The instructions are simple and easy to follow. It's a great kit and the press works perfectly. I do wish it came with a larger bottle of adhesive but I did end up buying some from another company just so I have enough for the projects I'm working on and won't run out quickly.

This kit came with an impressive variety of items, offering a lot of options for different bookbinding needs. However, some of the components weren't quite necessary for my specific project. While it included plenty of materials for fully binding books, I was primarily looking for supplies to create my own hardcovers, so some of the extras weren’t really needed. The amount of glue included was a bit sparse, though it did come with an abundance of cheesecloth. On a positive note, the book press itself is incredibly sturdy and well-made, so I’m confident it will last for many years to come. Overall, while not everything was essential for my exact needs, the kit still offers great value, especially for anyone looking to explore a wider range of bookbinding techniques.
