It's slightly more narrow at top, saw was tight
First let me say this is not a defect but other items in their product line are the same way. The way they stitch the sides they are folded in so the mouth opening is not as wide as the bag. The Silky brand saw was a lite tight sliding in. I had to snip a few stitches out. Had the same issue on the small pouch that holds sharpening stone. Other than that it's made very well and it does work.
