Did we need a kettle that keeps the water hot for 30 minutes? As it turned out, yes we did. As kettles go, this is a really good one, it is lightweight when empty which is a good starting point and it is no noisier than any other kettle that we have had previously. It looks good too. We don't do 'speciality' teas so the lower temperature settings won't get much use but the 90, 95, and 100 degree temperatures have been used non-stop. The 'Hold Temp' feature which you might think you won't use has also been invaluable. I get up for work at 3:30am, make myself a coffee from my pod machine and put the kettle on for my large work mug and set it to hold the temp. By the time I'm ready to leave the kettle is already hot and ready to pour. My wife also does this before she goes to work, and because I get home before her I can put the kettle on when I get home, hold the temp, and even after the 30 minutes has expired and the kettle has turned off it is still hot when she gets home and it boils in less time because this is a quick boil kettle. One thing to note with the Hold Temp feature which I personally think is a design fault. When you turn it on the Hold Temp light turns on and the base unit stays lit for 30 minutes, after 30 minutes the base unit beeps and turns off. Next time you use the kettle the Hold Temp light is still lit up, so to use it again you have to press it once to turn it off and press it again to turn it on. In my opinion the light should have turned off after the 30 minute cycle, it's not a major thing so I'm not going to be petty and deduct stars from the review. In the manual it does say to 'Press the button again to turn it off'. In summary, it looks good, boils quick, we love the different temperature settings and the Hold Temp feature, it's the kettle you didn't think you needed.

I chose the matte black version because it matches my kitchen décor perfectly, and it looks really sleek on the counter. Ninja products have always been a staple in both my home and my family’s homes — we’ve always rated them highly — and this kettle is no exception. One of my family members bought it first, and after seeing it in action, I knew I needed one too. I’ve had it for about a month now and genuinely don’t regret the purchase. It boils quickly — within seconds to a couple of minutes depending on how much water you’re heating — so you’re not waiting around long. One of my favourite features is the temperature selector. I drink matcha regularly, and 80°C is the ideal temperature for it. Being able to set the kettle to 80°C instead of boiling to 100°C makes a noticeable difference in flavour — it tastes smoother and less bitter compared to when I was using a standard kettle. Another feature I love is that it holds the temperature for up to 30 minutes. This is perfect if you’re like me and get distracted halfway through making a drink 😂 You don’t have to reboil it straight away. It’s also easy to wipe down and keep clean, and overall feels like a high-quality appliance. I’m really happy with this purchase and will definitely be buying more Ninja products in the future. In fact, another family member has already bought this kettle after seeing mine.

I really like this kettle. Looks very smart on the worktop and doesn’t take a lot of room as the base is quite compact stable Love the fact that you can heat to different temperatures. The ‘hold heat’ function is really useful and I’ve actually used it more than I thought I would. I like the clear Ninja ‘beep’ when the kettle is plugged in and when it reaches the correct temperature, The only slight negative is that it is a little hard to judge the amount of water in the kettle because the gauge is alongside the handle but that’s only a little niggle and not a great issue. Other reviewers have mentioned that it marks easily .. I’ve not found that .. small splash marks can be removed easily. Overall .. very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend.

Great colour, everything is well made. Lid clicks and is satisfying, like a car door. Very easy to clean, don't know about limescale yet. Heats up fast, but turns on and off until it reaches the required temperature, so be aware. It's supposed to do that. Control are easy to use, and nice and clear. Expensive, but worth the money.

I have been using this Ninja kettle for around two and a half years, and it’s still working really well. The adjustable temperature settings are the main reason I chose it, and they continue to be incredibly useful, especially for different teas and coffee. Being able to select the exact temperature makes a noticeable difference to taste. One of my favourite features of the kettle is the hold temperature (keep-warm) function. It’s incredibly convenient, especially when you’re busy and don’t want to reboil the kettle every time. Pros: -Hold / keep-warm temperature function is very practical -Adjustable temperature control for different drinks -Fast boiling even after 2½ years of use -Solid, durable build quality -Easy to use with clear controls Cons -The exterior can show finger marks easily -More expensive than a basic kettle Overall: this is a great kettle if you value temperature control and build quality. The minor cosmetic issue doesn’t affect performance, and I would still highly recommend it.

Did a lot of research and this seemed the best option for japanese loose leaf green tea. Brews to a precise temp, i've been using 70*c for my Sencha and 60*c for my Gyokuru, looks great, feels nice to pour and fill, and you can disable the ninja beep if needed. No more brewing my old kettle, then popping the lid and waiting for it to cool enough!

Brilliant kettle, lovely design and really simple to use. There is nothing I don’t love about this Ninja Kettle…actually one thing - the water gauge is located behind the handle which makes viewing the level as you fill the kettle a bit awkward but I’m being very critical in that. Having had another version of this sort of kettle from a different high-end brand before I have to say that the Ninja is far nicer to live with - it’s compact, has a simple one touch start button for 100*c boiling, a discreet sound alert when it goes on and when it’s boiled and displays the current water temperature throughout the boiling process and for a period of time afterwards. Kettle can be left switched on at the wall and the display times out after a sensible period of time. 10/10 product.

This kettle boils quickly and pours well. The temperature options are great for anyone who needs specific water temperatures, I use it on various settings for teas. It can overshoot by a couple of degrees occasionally but waiting for this to cool down isn't particularly a problem. I'd also say that this kettle actually does fully boil water, whereas some others I've previously used seem to turn off slightly before. No complaints.

Nice kettle, some extras and pours brilliantly. But be aware it does interfere badly with radios close by.
