OrlyNail Defense, 0.6 Ounce

I have nail psoriasis which is an absolute nightmare. I usually wear Kiss Impress when I want long nails. I’m giving my nails a break and tried this. It’s amazing. My nails are stronger after two weeks. Also, dries quickly. I used OPI Nail Envy for years; this is better.

I have aging brittle and thinning nails. This quick fix adds some strength and makes them look far better.

I have used Orly Nail Defense for many years. My nails so easily break, split, and often tear down into the quick. Yes, I take lots of vitamins, but my nails are weak and ridged no matter what.I discovered Nail Defense and have used it continuously - for at least 10 years and maybe longer. I used to get it at Sally’s Beauty Supply, but many Sally’s closed. Even before that it started being hard to find it even if I found a store open.Then I discovered I could buy it from Amazon. No problem since. I always have two or three bottles.The only problem, and it’s not enough to keep me from loving it, is that when the bottle gets low it becomes hard to get the brush in the product, and it gets thick. At that point, it’s barely usable.But I still think it is the best thing out there to protect weak nails like mine. A few coats and they’re as hard as an artificial nail, and I can grow long nails as long as I want if I use it often. If you want polish, it goes on so smoothly with Nail Defense underneath.

Very good product! Seems to help with splitting nails. Be careful using it as an undercoat, however. It seemed to make my polish bubble.

As I have gotten older my nails seem to chip a lot I have a hard time growing them I am 62 so I have tried many nail strengtheners like Sally Hansen, Revlon, Perfect Nails I could go on and on I came across this and my nails have been growing because it actually does strengthen my nails and keeps them from chipping I usually put two coats on and then every other day another coat for a week and then I take him off and repeat. Also use it for base coat and then put color on and use it for a top coat works out perfectly that way also. May seem a little expensive but the quality you're paying for is worth it I forgot to mention the bristles that you apply it with are perfect I don't know how to describe it but it puts the nail straightener on very nice and even.

Love this product! As I've aged my nails have become thinner and easy to break. This product definitely helps! I apply two layers and repeat the application in three days or so over the original polish. After about two weeks I remove with acetone and start over. It can also be used as a basecoat and topcoat for my colored polish. Oh, and it's fast drying. Highly recommend

Excellent product.

This product was just ok for me. I didn't feel it worked any better than other base and/or top coats I've used. It did apply easily and dried quickly. I did not keep my manicure from chipping any moer or less than other products.
