Indeed this alarm from Eufy is much better that the alarm form the Home Base. Loud enough, but if you have a big house another one it might be recommended.

Came back to buy a second alarm, too bad it's out of stock

I have both a full Eufy and Ring system. All security "home bases" have weak (low volume) "sirens". They aren't loud enough to even startle a thief. This eufy siren has decent volume. I came back to buy a few more to spread throughout the house and they are out of stock.

Just a Toy

I was hoping this siren would actually be loud enough to be a deterrent compared to the home base, unfortunately the siren is not much louder than the homebase. A burglar would laugh at this and continue to burglarize your home rather than be deterred. None of your neighbors would be able to hear this alarm as well. The Ring has a true alarm that is intimidating.

Works and is easy to integrate. WAY too quiet.

I was super excited when Eufy came out with this because even the HomeBase 3 is so quiet you can't hear it even a room or two away. It just allows thieves to know where the base is.I bought this and was really hyped that it would give us more like what we had with our old Z-Wave system. Nope. It's soooooo quiet. Both settings (one quieter and one "louder") are so quiet. And you can't change the tone. It's just a beep. We wound up having to keep it in our bedroom to even be able to hear it.It is still worth it, as you can put one close to where you are when you have the alarm system on. But it would be nice if it were much louder and you could have a few choices in tones.

Very loud, and easy to set up. I wish they would work as an extra speaker for my homebase, but nevertheless, they do the job..

Loud enough

One of the biggest issues with Eufy homebase was always volume of built-in siren. It is quiet. Like, it-probably-wouldn't-scare-a-hamster quiet.This siren however was a good addition to our security system. I'm out of hamsters this season but I bet this thing would send one right to the heaven.
