GLIMMER GODDESS Organic Body Shimmer Lotion - Super Level 3 Bronze Body Shimmer, 8 oz

I'm on my third bottle of this lotion- and i love it! from all the shimmering lotions i've tried (and there were many) - this one is the best! it has the best consistency of being between oil and body lotion. the quality of the ingredients is clearly evident and it just glides on, nourishes the skin really well and absorbs quickly. it feels luxurious, without being heavy or oily/dripping. the scent is also great, and - luckily - evaporates pretty quickly, so it's not overwhelming or competing with any perfume i might have on. i personally prefer the shimmer lotions with fine glitter in them (vs. the type that has those 'micro' things that on me just make my skin look oily/shiny/reflective, without actually adding actual "sparkle" particles. the gold shimmer of this lotion is simply stunning- while i started with only using this lotion for special date nights, i now actually wear it - applied in moderation - to the office, too :). the shimmer flakes are extremely fine and delicate, they are more matte-finish, so they don't look glitzy or reflective as some of the cheaper looking larger-size glitter out there. they also apply evenly so you don't get streaks, and create a delightful twinkle that i've received a lot of compliments on. i also tried their Whipped Body Butter, and while it is also a great product and gives a similar glow, i find that controlling the amount to be applied is easier with the lotion bottle. i also tried their Diamond shimmer lotion: the first bottle was not a good fit (more silver than pearly-diamond) but they replaced the bottle with an amazing ivory-pearl color that loos awesome. BTW- as reference, i'm an extremely pale Caucasian, and both the Gold color and the new Diamond shimmer add a really nice 3D twinkle, without looking cheap or too contrasting with my skin tone. Both actually look classy :) - they are not too overpowering that you can't wear it every day, or that you end up looking like "Goldfinger" or like you're dressed for a nightclub. lastly, like another reviewer said, after applying, you are left with gold shimmer on your hands. i consider that a given- since you do need to use your hands to apply it. i don't consider it an issue since it's easy to just wash my hands after. In addition, some of the shimmer may flake on to clothes or bed sheets (depending on how much you apply)- i also think that is expected, and i actually enjoy the occasional minor spark residue on my clothes. bottom line- this is the best shimmer body lotion i've tried. it's an excellent product - luxurious, nourishing, with a very subtle, yet noticeable, glow. highly recommended!

I first ordered this product here on Amazon. From then on I ordered not only this wonderful Bronze Shimmer product but Simply Radiant Facial Serums that are like Facial Magic Potion for my older skin(I'm 51 with Olive-Medium Skin Tone). I didnt write a review of their serums on the Simply Radiant site yet because I always want to be make sure it really works and what my results were from at least 30-90 day consistent use. As for this Shimmer Bronze Lotion I use it every time I go out in shorts or skirt which is basically every other day while I've been in Florida. It gives me a beautiful Glow and compliments my brown legs. It's also the best product I have used to help me camaflouge my cellulite thighs (as I am a Healthy Size Woman...Lol!). I only ordered it from Amazon this time because the shipping is like Super Hero Fast and I needed a bottle right away plus I also having free shipping with Amazon Prime. I decided to use the money I saved from shipping this time to try the Whipped Body Bronzer.(Always wanted to try it) The customer service at Simply Radiant is Great and they are definitely on it when it comes to helping out their customers.

Good value for the money. Clean and fragrant free, no haste scent I love this product. I actually bought one for my friend. It looks like your skin is dusted with gold shimmer. I like it because it doesn’t look like glitter or cheap glitter. It just looks shimmer on your skin.

Like this a lot, I’ve tried several products but this one actually looks like a bronzer has a little sheen to it and it’s a nice color. You can even use it on your face.

I bought this when my drug store brand moisturizer stoped making their “illuminating” body lotion. Although this is a little pricey to use everyday as all-over body lotion, I use it daily by adding a pea-size amount to my plain boring drug store moisturizer. It adds just enough shimmer! You’ll think “is this even doing anything” and then the sun will hit it just right and you’ll feel like a glimmering goddess. And it smells really nice, too! I hope this never stops being made bc it is lovely and I have to have it in my life.

I really like the scent of this product, it definitely gives you a beautiful glow and shimmer. It’s a unique product, only problem is it’s not transfer proof. The orange or brown of the lotion gets all over everything and I had carpet stains and stains on my sheets from this lotion. If it were transfer proof it would have been 5 stars.

I loved the glitter but it fragrance was so strong it gave me a headache! I’ll try mixing it with my unscented Alba next time.

I’m very fair skinned. I use a self tanner (I like both Jergen’s natural glow and IL Makiage) and the super bronze is great to wear with it. I put on my self tanner at night one night a week. Every morning, I use the instant bronzer. It takes about 2 drops of this mixed with 1 drop of my ST. Tropez Instant glow (it doesn’t have the shimmer so calms the shimmer down a bit for the perfect mix) and about a quarter size amount of my favorite firming lotion to cover an entire leg and of course, a little less of each for my arms/neck, takes quite a bit of rubbing and smoothing, but it enhances my tan perfectly and washes off hands easily. Especially good for the end of the week when my base self tanner is fading! I am very experienced with self tanners, and this is the best bronzer/shimmer lotion that I’ve ever used. LOVE and will certainly be reordering. Bonus, it smells like ginger bread cookies and mixes well with a coconut scented lotion 😍 As with all instant bronzers, expect it to wash off with water and soap. If you’re like me and you have all white towels, it washes off of them and any clothing easily.
