They do work very well And I was completely unaware that these can be made in such quantities of scale to bring them down to such a low price range. Do be aware that these require through hole soldering of decently large pins and on some of the controllers they're packed in particularly tight so if you're new to soldering, don't try it. Find a shop or a person who's got the experience and you will end up with a very good performing controller with virtually zero dead zone and more importantly no drift over time. I am a fairly seasoned pro at surface mount soldering and electronics repair and even I have lifted pads on some of these stick replacements but I also know how to repair it when I do, so my recommendation isn't frivolous. I've installed these for PS4, PS5, and Xbox so far and all of them behaved exactly the same, which is to say pretty darn good with almost no jitter when you power it on the first time and plug it into a PC to do the range calibration of the sticks. As long as they are mounted 100% perfectly flat against the PCB, you should probably get the same results I did which is an initial .0015 fluctuation away from the zero point, which then goes completely quiet after performing the centering and range calibration. The same process occurred with both PS4 and Xbox controllers using this brand and both were running equally well. Before this I had tried kits that were designed with calibration PCBs that tacked on underneath the sticks and well those provide a convenient button press to re-zero them if you need to, I haven't found a situation where I actually need to re-zero them after the initial calibration so the extra soldering and extra cost doesn't seem warranted in my opinion.
