I bought this book to help teach my kids about empathy, but I wasn’t expecting the book to address children who have had to flee from their homes. I got a bit emotional reading to the kids… what a beautiful message and so well done. Thank you so much for this book

The representation in this book along with the message it imparts, are just wonderful. This will be a great addition to classrooms and bookshelves everywhere

Beautiful drawings.Story about accepting others because we are all the same with focus on refugees.We might be different on the outside and speak different languages but inside we are the same. The same things make us happy, sad etc....

I love David Robert’s illustrations and have purchased many books illustrated by him. This is a particularly lovely because of all the diversity of representation. All characters are very unique and have so much personality!It’s a lovely book for reception-KS1 children.

Such a beautiful story, an age appropriate way of explaining empathy of others born into different situations to us. Also beautifully printed, I love the bold neon colours.
