Just went for a short evening walk. This time of year in Houston, means I would be swinging at mosquitoes constantly. I don't like putting sprays on because they are a little tough on my asthma, and don't tend to do much anyway. Plus you end up smelling like bug spray until you take a shower.This device actually worked! Not 1 mosquito in a short 15 minute walk through mosquito central.And you can just pop the thing off your wrist and put it back into the stink proof zip lock bag, and the after smell situation disappears. (well, if I sniff my wrist I can still smell it).the device has a simple metal cap on each end. you unscrew it and put a little plastic peg into each end, and replace the caps. I used a pair of forceps to avoid getting the smell on my fingers. Then you wash your hands in soapy water afterwards.I think the key is that this may use the essential oils in pure form, so it is more effective than the diluted stuff in a spray. (Citronella oil, Eucalyptus oil, and lemon Eucalyptus oil).I will update the review to indicate the amount of time each set of oil sticks lasts. There were 5 sets of sticks, so i they last a month each, that should cover most of a summer in most places.

For mosquitos I'm a strong believer in that there's a variety of methods and devices that work and don't. Also the reasons vary by region and person.So for us we saw the stickers from our kiddos daycare did okay. At least one of us in the household seems to get more bites and will likely double up if they can.Now the bracelet did fit on the huge wrist of the household and wraps okay on the toddler. The tightness is in the Goldilocks zone.The ends where you place the core have a harder plastic and thin threads. I see this as the spot that wears or get cross-threaded. That action alone, is partly why adults should load these up. The shiny metal details are decorative removable rings (sm part warning for infant parents)I don't understand how these bracelets work but in the box the re-sealable product baggies for each bracelet say "aromatherapy essential oil diffuser bracelet". The box for the two pack say the active and inert ingredients. This one has less detail but the product is the same. There's two cores in each refill baggie. It's super easy to refill.I've had an item change on me in the far past. I have some mosquito stickers for outdoor adventures, but they aren’t very potent. I’ve been looking at these bracelets for a while and finally decided to bite the bullet.I couldn’t be more pleased. There are little cores that you put into each side after unscrewing the cap on each side. It definitely smells potent, but in a good and non offensive way.Easy to wear and very flexible to accommodate different sized wrists.I’m very pleased with this bracelet and would recommend it to others for any outdoor activity. ☺️
