These do not make a sound and I just returned the medium sized ones because they were really loud and kinda annoying. Guess I'll try something not so heavy. :(Okay, so right before I went to return them they started making noise. lol, I'm just impatient so therefore I'm not returning them. I can get them upstairs while laying in my bed at the beach, you will, however, need a little heavy wind, but I'm happy they're not as loud as the medium sized ones. Those were pretty sounding, if you have a large yard and not close to your windows, lol.

Amazing value and quality for the price! In December, I will have had these 3 years, and kept under roof cover, still beautiful. I took this picture today. Even under the gentlest of breezes, they have a soft bamboo sound that reminds me of the tropics. I have another larger one, purchased same time, open to the elements at the corner of the backyard deck still beautiful. These will last you many years.

I would give it more stars if possible. The sound is beautiful. Absolutely amazing sound and quality.Holds up so well under weather conditions. This is actually a replacement for one I purchased years ago. Hoping this stays available for a long time.

This windchime is pretty, but it doesn't make noise. Not worth the money

I love this one so much. It sounds so pretty, not like some of the annoying sounds of the metal wind chimes. These wooden ones have a very peaceful sound. The blue butterflies show up so nicely out in my grandmother's garden. It made a great gift.

You would not believe these came from Amazon. Looks like i picked them up at a art festival. My sister loved them as a Christmas present. Bamboo is much easier on the ears compared to metal chimes.

Cohasset makes gorgeous wind chimes. I especially enjoy these. The butterflies are beautiful and the soft clatter of the chimes is soothing.
