I was disappointed that the other reviews of this bathroom timer did not mention that it doesn't fit into some electrical boxes. It's too tall as you can see in the picture. I had to sand the top and bottom quite a bit to make it fit. It also doesn't match the color of my ivory switches but that's not a deal breaker.Works well and is easy to wire. Instructions are good.

I have a whole house fan in my attic. I hooked it up because the old switch did not work and it works perfectly.

I rather wish it hade the holes on the back if it that you can use to connect wires by pushing them into the hole. That is a much nicer system.The timer does not include a 1-minute option; the shortest available timing period is 5 minutes, while the longest is 4 hours.The included snap-on faceplate is designed for a single switch. In a dual-switch setup, such as when there is also a switch for bathroom lights, this faceplate becomes unusable. Additionally, using a standard dual switch faceplate results in screws that are too small to fit the timer switch’s holes, preventing secure attachment. This design oversight is significant, as most users with multi-switch setups will encounter this issue.Overall Review:Technically, the timer switch deserves 4.5 to 5 stars for its performance. However, the mounting issues with the faceplate are a major drawback, which impacts the overall rating. I’ve given it 3 stars on Amazon but considered giving only 2. This engineering flaw is disappointing, and I would recommend purchasing this switch only if you are confident it will fit your existing faceplate configuration.

Touch buttons are very sensitive and has great looking interface! Installations were easy and fast. Highly recommend.

I've never seen these switches before & ran across them when ordering all kinds of various switches during our whole-home remodel. These are brilliant for bathroom fans and laundry room fans. Some members of the family tend to switch those fans on when needed & always forget to turn them off, so we almost always have a fan running in the house somewhere. Not only does that waste electricity & create background noise, I feel like it also leaves the vents open to the outdoors and allow birds & other critters to nest in the duct work. These worked well after carefully manuevering wires/space around in our 3-gang and 4-gang groupings.

I can only recommend this based on the overall quality of the switch. The wire ends are soldered, with was an appreciated touch, and we like the switch now that it's installed. BUT, the plastic mounting plate is way too thick, and the wholes for the cover plate mounting are not a standard size.The problem with the plastic mounting plate thickness is that it sticks out much farther than the other switch, and the core plate stuck out super far. I was able to modify the plate and I had some other screws, but it was a pretty big pain. I don't think I can recommend it very highly.Also the touch controls are pretty sensitive, and the slightest touch will turn it on. This is an issue when it's right by the light switch.

This would probably be a pain to install in an older home, but most construction after the mid 1990's have a neutral wire somewhere in the box that can be tapped into. You will also need a decent size box in the wall, so again, adding this to older homes might be more tricky if you don't have the space. As this was going into a bathroom remodel, deep boxes and neutrals were already installed so adding this was simple.It fits standard Decor plates and sits flush and looks great. The timing function was accurate and there was not much heat on the unit when load was applied. Good quality control for bathroom exhaust fans.
