I love doing these paint by numbers. I painted this one for my sister who has a pug. Overall it turned out nicely. My only issue, and the reason for only four stars, was that many of the numbers were difficult to see (even using the paper guide provided). Now, I am in getting older and already wear glasses, but it got to the point I actually went out and bought a magnifying glass but even that didn't help on many of them. I really believe that if they just made this one on a slightly larger canvass it would have improved the legibility greatly. I give it a 5 on cute! And a 5 for being oil (oils are much smoother to paint over acrylics) and somewhat forgiving if you do paint areas the wrong color (it'll still turn out nicely).I would recommend getting some different brushes. The brushes provided are do-able (but seem to be the same standard ones included in all of the different kits I've purchased) but I found a 4 pack of Craft Smart Black Taklon Liner Brushes after the fact that would have been great to use on this piece with the small detail areas.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!!! This was my first paint by number and I am in love! It took me about 5 days to complete, and I'm super happy with it. I highly reccomend this one, it's super cute!!! I also love that it came with a copy on paper, it really helped me if I wanted to retouch an area so I knew what paint to use. I've got plenty of paint left over, so I may paint the paper version and give it to a friend!!

I got so much satisfaction seeing this painting come to life. I'm no Picasso and this was super easy to create. Not only does the finished product look great, but the process was fulfilling. I'll probably do a few more of these before trying to create something free style. Loved it and recommend if you want to create some art but don't know where or how to get started. If you're into pups like I am, it helps too!

Did NOT come with the frame. Could not find a frame to fit it because of the thickness of the mounting of picture to a wooden base. Had to go to frame shop & husband and owner had to permanently fix picture to frame. However it was a Christmas gift for my mother in law and she loved it. It’s hanging on a wall in her little studio apartment. This is the same breed as her dog that’s why I chose this picture.

This was very useful for my artistic daughter and kept her occupied, and the picture is nice for my pet loving nanny as a present!

This was really fun. The numbers were a bit hard to see and printed over the next section so sometimes you painted over a number you needed yet. But I'm an artistic person so if I painted over a number I just winged it. Overall, I love how it turned out.

I bought this paint-by-number set for a family gift exchange. My daughter who ended up with it loves it. Not for people with poor eyesight, however. Nice selection of brushes included. I may get one for myself!
