My very first Treadmill, I love it!
The media could not be loaded. I have never owned a treadmill but myself and my wife decided that it's time to get fit!I've tried an exercise bike before but found it awkward to store in our house so after some research I decided on a treadmill.Firstly I was very impressed at how well packaged the treadmill was, large box but was in perfect condition on opening. The treadmill came pretty much fully assembled, only had to screw in 4 feet into the bottom, attached the power cable and attached the device stand onto the handle. Then all you need to do is lift the handle up and you're good to go.The treadmill is really sturdy and well built, it definitely feels like it is built to last.Having never used a treadmill before I was apprehensive about stepping onto it but it's so simple to work there was no need to worry.Controls are either via the panel on the handle or with the included remote control. To be honest I found the panel on the handle easier to access as it's directly infront of you.Turning the device on and pressing the start button starts the treadmill in the slowest mode, gradually increasing in speed every time you push the + button.A lovely big display at the bottom on the treadmill constantly scrolls showing the speed setting, calories burnt and distance.Something I didn't realise is that you must have the magnetic safety tag attached to the device in order for it to work, an error code showed on the display and after reading the manual it explains what this means. There is a Bluetooth speaker built into the treadmill too so you can play music from your phone, but I haven't used this feature yet.My plan is to use this daily but being a novice I will use it on the slower modes before I get up to running pace. I have tried all the speeds, including the fastest one which at the moment due to being unfit I couldn't do for more than 30 seconds! The great thing is that to slow down or stop you press a single "stop" button and the treadmill beings to immediately slow down gradually until it stops completely. For storage the treadmill folds down (the handle) and on the bottom of it has small wheels so you can manoeuvre it easily to where you need it to be.It's quite heavy but with the handle closed flat I am able to lift/carry it but to move it significantly you would probably want to do this with another person.Overall for my very first treadmill I am extremely impressed. Well built, easy to use and great value.I would definitely recommend this treadmill to anyone looking for a great way to get or keep fit.

Better than expected - no wait!
*update 2 months after purchase it is in the process of being returned as the running plate has cracked badly. I weight 50kg less than the max weight of 120. Amazon returns amazing but this unit needs technical changes as there is another review here with exact same issue*Original: Whilst a bit too soon to tell this does seem a reasonable piece of equipment. If you want gym quality you will need to spend 5k or more so i wanted something to fill in at home on dark wet nights between gym and to get steps up. However I had to make adjustments to the belt which should really have been checked pre-delivery and I had to add further silicone under on the running platen. I learnt a few things buying a treadmill - the first is that this one had a slightly longer and wider belt than the others in the range - this is important as the bigger the better if you have a long stride for example. And secondly it runs at 12km/hour so this allows me to run at a reasonable speed so doesn’t limit my running. It would limit sprinting though. and thirdly the motor is 2.5hp. I felt more confident going for a higher power motor as think it may last longer. Will see how goes. I linked up easily to my tablet with Zwift too which takes the running speed from the treadmill - nice app.

Versatile, practical home treadmill
This is a premium treadmill and is perfect for the home. A few highlights are as follows:Design:The treadmill looks very modern and streamlined. The controls are all simple and functional. The LED display is sharp and looks good.My previous treadmill was bulky and always looked out of place, unless in the garage gym. The Mobvoi treadmill looks a bit more like it belongs in the home plus it is very easy to fold and store. The actual running tread is deceptively big and very well cushioned.I can't comment on durability as I've only had the treadmill for a week or so however it looks very sturdy and well built. I wouldn't say it's overly heavy compared to some other treadmills however it does feel reassuringly sturdy.Versatility:The treadmill is extremely versatile, when upright it's like a gym treadmill and you can work hard on it. When in flat mode, you can walk to get the steps up whilst watching TV. My favourite part is being able to use the treadmill while working from home at my standing desk. Ergonomically, it's brilliant being able to walk for 5-10 mins every hour rather than being seated, or even standing, I'm amazed at how much of a difference it makes to my working day.Features:The treadmill has all the tech features that you could wish for. I really just use the phone and watch app which is perfect for me. Very easy to use and syncing with smart watch & phone is simple. The speakers are a nice touch and can be bluetoothed to any device.Overall:The treadmill is quiet, comfortable, practical and really seems to be designed as a home treadmill. Other treadmills I've had feel like a big lump of gym equipment in my home however the Mobvoi Plus feels like it belongs in my home. It performs as good as any gym treadmill, if not better but looks good in any room at home and can be easily stored. There are lots of nice, understated features.

Good for walking but not running
Initially I was very impressed with the quality, all the extras you usually only see in a gym treadmill. I think it's perfect for walking, probably the best in its price range. But I started to speed up and actually running, I lost my balance a couple of times and almost fell off the treadmill. So I recommend for walking 100%, but not jogging or running. Anything more than 6 for speed, there isn't enough space to a bit of non-linear movement and you can easily step outside of it and fall down. The problem is not the treadmill, it is just that to run, you need a treadmill larger than 42 cm, even though this one is larger than the average (which is a great thing!).
