RAF 100: The Story of the Royal Air Force 1918-2018

I've read a few military history and autobiography books over the years but I wouldn't claim to be a military expert. However I found this book pretty lightweight and uninformative. It might appeal to a child about 10 years old but not to me. Rather than buying this I'd recommend getting a decent autobiography written by a pilot such as First Light by Geoffrey Wellum; Sea Harrier over the Falklands by Sharkey Ward; or Joint Force Harrier by Ade Orchard, to name just three off the top of my head.

The book was great ,but arrived damaged ,as it was a xmas present for my grandson very disappointed have had to return & re order so finger crossed next one is not damaged at all. But book itself was just what I think my grandson who wants to join RAF will love it & all the history it contains.

Excellent book, different to the other RAF 100 books I have (and I have most)! Some very good photos.

Beautiful book with not only stunning photography but plenty of information as well. Gift for my son who is delighted with it.

I purchased this for a 90th birthday gift for an ex RAF member . He was so delighted with this book& I would highly recommend . I glanced through the book & found it very interesting
