Each 8-ounce tab contains 90% available chlorine and 99% Trichloro-S-Triazinetrione, maintaining optimal pH and alkalinity levels while controlling algae and bacteria. Packaged with safety in mind, these tablets are ideal for use in floaters or in-line feeders, delivering consistent, powerful pool care with minimal effort. ## Description Adjust the chlorine dispensing rate of the floater or in-line feeder to provide 2.0-4.0 ppm of free chlorine residual as determined by a reliable test kit. The initial startup and weekly maintenance dosage is 1 to 3 tablets per 10,000 gallons although this dosage may vary due to unusual conditions such as heavy bather loads, wind, heavy rains, and high temperatures; therefore, frequent use of a reliable test kit is recommended. Use the test kit as a guide to maintain the pH at 7.4-7.6 and total alkalinity at 80-130 pom. Pool chlorinating tablets are intended for use in a floater or in-line feeder only. Do not add these tablets directly to the pool or mix with any other chemicals. Reentry into treated swimming pools is prohibited above levels of 3 ppm of chlorine. They really last a long time. My pool was starting to get behind with algae and added one puck to my 27 foot above ground pool and noticed a huge difference the next day. Will only buy these in the future! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Chlorine tablets are not just chlorine tablets. *by E***E on June 26, 2014* Chlorine tablets are not just chlorine tablets. The ones you buy at Walmart are not the same quality as you get at the pool specialty store. These however, are cheaper than what you buy at Walmart and rival, if not surpass, what I get a the pool store in town. They dissolve at an even and consistent speed, keep my chlorine at desired level and came direct to my door. I love that they are individually wrapped as I dont have to handle the tablet with my hands and the bucket doesnt knock you over with fumes every time you open it. The packets open easily and dont have to carry scissors to the pool to open them like I have with other brands. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/637986132-pool-mate-4-pounds-premium-chlorine-tablets-3-inch-7](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/637986132-pool-mate-4-pounds-premium-chlorine-tablets-3-inch-7) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
