I got this for our camling trip this weekend. What I like is the solar which very convenient because I can put it anywhere. I have a plug in one at home, the cable is short so in order for me to use it o need to have a long extension to run it. This one it's easy to use. The solar panel storage good amount of power to last us all night. It runs very quietly till a bug is being zap 😆. Very small, light weight and portable. I would say it's a great quality of lap. I like the look of it as well. It just like a lantern. For what I pay for, it's worth of the price.

I got this bug zapper for camping and used it for two nights while we sat around the fire. We got eaten by mosquitoes but didn’t hear a single zap. Also don’t see any dead mosquitoes in the catch tray. Tried using it at home for two nights and same thing, I get eaten by mosquitoes but not a single one goes into the bug zapper

Where I live the bugs are overwhelming outside. We can't even enjoy the patio without having wasps and gnats flying over us.With this bug zapper the game changed! It kills them efficiently, even big hornets that were building on our patio are gone!Make sure to clean it everyday, it's very easy too.The solar panel helps to keep it going, it's awesome. We don't have to worry about batteries.It lasted 8h without charge and 5h with the led lights on. The led light will help attracting the bugs.Perfect for taking on camping trips, sitting out to enjoy some food, specially when barbecuing.It doesn't make any noise and it's very lightweight.I love my bug zapper!

Not as effective as I needed. Ok but not great

Only giving it 4 stars because i've only used once and it did catch a bunch of moths and no mosquitos, I do wish that it had a way to auto turn on at night instead but i love that i can charge it with USB or solar.

Product update**Just shortly after reviewing this product it completely stopped working. I would be careful buying.I was a little skeptical about this bug zapper but I’m glad I purchased it. It works well out on my patio keeping the bugs away! I love that it’s solar so we can bring it camping to keep the bugs away.

This bug zapper is very handy and mobile. It's great to have for the outdoors when you go camping. It has a solar panel on the top that will charge the battery of the bug zapper. It takes a while but does get fully charged. It is really easy to charge with the usb cord though. There is a led light at the top that really helps to set a playful mood at night outdoors. It has a uv light in the cage portion and works great to attract bugs and zap them. There's a small tray at the bottom that collects the dead bugs and is easy to clean out.

I really wanted to like this product, it charged up outside easily enough, has a nice handy light but we live in North Idaho, lots of bugs and it really didn't kill very many. I tried moving it around to several areas and it just didn't kill very many, bummer.
