It definitely covers the back and helps to cool the car quicker since it blocks some of the trunk. This isn't air tight, but it does the job for both privacy and a tiny bit of climate control. It's the perfect size for a 2020 Chevy Equinox. I wouldn't place anything on top of it. It was easy to install but I haven't tried to remove it yet. The flap moves back and forth smoothly and is easy to lock into place. The black is evenly distributed, this does not look cheap. I think it will last, but only time will tell.

Purchase this for my 2018 GMC Terrain, it fit perfectly and appears to be very well made, I think it's an excellent value. It does leave a small gap between the seat back end the bar itself, but it's maybe an inch and a half or 2in and if you have tinted windows it's not even a factor. I like the fact that the front flap blocks The View from the back window.

I have had this cover for about 1 year now. It works well. It is easy to remove and put back in place which is important. When hauling larger item the cover needs to be removed. The cover still looks almost new and I don't baby it. There is no color fading. The fit is tight so it doesn't move around. The spring mechanism works great. The only thing that would have been nice is if it came in a tan color to match our leather seats.

The info on this item only goes up to 2021 so I took a chance that it would fit my 2003. It fits perfectly. I just received it and it installed and works perfectly. I don’t know yet if it will hold up with use but it works great right now.

Great product, fits our 2020 Equinox perfectly. The material is good quality and well made. It's not quite like the OEM cover and the cover material is a wee bit thinner, but still of good quality. Well worth the price.

Bought this for my 18 Chev Equinox. Fit perfect very sturdy and easy install.

Bought a 2019 Equinox in June - had a PT Cruiser about 10 years ago with the cargo cover and loved it. We like to travel & the cargo cover hides the suitcases in the back. This item fit perfectly, appears to be sturdy, and was much less expensive than purchasing through the dealer. Taking a trip next month so will have a chance to try it out.
