I have been suffering (and I mean SUFFERING) from a terrible relentless itch on one side of my head for ages and none of the expensive shampoos and prescription medications have helped one bit. This was delivered today and I used it once this afternoon and once this evening when I felt the itch starting up. It’s now bedtime and I feel fine … with no itchiness whatsoever … but just to be safe, I gave that area a good soaking so hopefully I’ll make it through the night without scratching my scalp until it’s raw. What I liked immediately was that it is like clear water with no horrible smell or oiliness! It literally dries like you’ve just put water on your hair. That’s a real selling point in my book and should be smack dab on the front of the packaging! I promise to update my review after I’ve used this Scalpicin Max Strength product a few days and I see if it continues to work for me. Here’s hoping!!!

This is good at stopping the itch. It is clear and doesn't make a mess. Works well for a dry scalp. The quality is good. The value is OK.

This worked better than I had anticipated. I've tried so many things to relieve the pain and unbearable itching from psoriasis on my scalp, but it's always the same deal. It helps for a little while, then you have to reapply until your scalp and hair are a greasy, medicated mess. I like to straighten my hair and wait a few days before I shampoo again, but when my psoriasis flares, it's just too itchy to deal with for more than a day or two, even with ointments. The Scalpicin Max Strength works so well on my scalp that I can go a full 3 days before shampooing and even skip the medicated shampoo once in a while.

I have been using this product for years, and have repurchased from Amazon a couple of times. I have tried other scalp itch formulas but, for me, this is the best because it contains cortisone. No smell and not sticky, no buildup on hair/scalp.

Easy to apply to scalp. After two treatments several days apart I haven’t itched in over a week so no more flakes. No more anxiety. Hallelujah. I ordered 2 more to keep on hand because the bottles are small. Both were wet and had leaked when I received them. Not sure how much fluid is left. It appears to happen quite a bit. Not happy about that. Amazon you need to fix this problem.
