Fantastic bulbs, super easy to connect, worked straight away no faff and got them connected to my Alexa easily. So much better than my previous ones that I had to spend 30 minutes turning the switch on and off to get them to connect to the WiFi. No flickering, look good, loads of colour range, easy to control. No idea about lifespan as yet as only had them for a week or so. Definitely reccomend.

I had it for about a week now and they work really well. The colours are not very bright but the normal white light (either cold or warm) is really powerful. One star down because of the terrible manual. It literally tells you to do the wrong thing, making it impossible to install them, causing a lot of wasted time and frustration. Here is what I did that had them paired and working in under one minute: - These lamps only connect to 2.4ghz on your router, which shouldn’t be a problem to anyone, since most routers have both 2.4 and 5ghz frequencies running at the same time. Some are separate and you can see two different names on your wifi list (one with a 2 and one with a 5). Just connect the bulbs using the one with a ‘2’ and you won’t have any trouble. Other routers have only one name and they will, intelligently, switch your connection between the two frequencies depending on where you are in your house. Unfortunately, these smart bulbs are not that smart and they will keep trying to connect to the strongest frequency (the 5ghz one) and thus failing to pair. You have to disable the 5ghz from your router before pairing them. There are lots if YouTube videos explaining ‘how to turn off my router's 5 GHz band’. Just type this into google and the name of your router. It’s done online, via a website accessed with numbers, instead of a regular www address (at least that’s how it was for me). It’s actually very easy and once the bulbs are paired you can enable the 5ghz again. Just don’t panic when your internet shuts down, every time you disable or enable 5ghz. It’s normal and you didn’t ruin internet forever (I though I had). It’s just your computer being knocked off from the wifi. Just reconnect it. - The first step of the manual tells you to ‘switch the light on for at least 10 seconds’, then switch it on and off 3 times. Ignore that. Just switch it on and off 3 times (on, off, on, off, on) and wait for 3 seconds for your light to start blinking rapidly. You might have to do this a couple of times (sometimes it blinks slowly instead, for a different kind of pairing, in this case, do it again). Good luck and have fun!

I suffer from photophobia, major issues with light whether sunlight, halogen lights, LED lights, strip lights, street lights and shop lights, if exposed to too much migraines. Trying to find lightbulbs that won’t aggravate the photophobia and then trigger a migraine is a nightmare. Low lumen, low wattage, no white bulbs or clear bulbs, they generally need to be the warm/yellow bulbs. I have thrown out more lightbulbs than I care to think about. I got these, set up the app, which was incredibly easy and then paired the bulb…..OMG. This for my needs is amazing. Currently the lamp I use for reading is on a warm tone, but turned the brightness down to about 15 and it’s great. No more guess work and if my photophobia is playing up, I can just turn it down further. I cannot recommend these enough.

I bought these used lights, knowing that the previous buyer had probably experienced installation issues. I was correct..I installed all four lights but initially one didn't work. I deleted it from the app and added it when installed in a lamp. Now they all work together in one fixture. I figured this out myself but I'm sure most problems can be overcome with the comprehensive trouble shooting guide. They are great lights and the app is really good. You can set lots of custom light settings and schedules. Shortcuts can be created and they can also be controlled with voice prompt. All these features work really well. I will definitely be buying more of these bulbs. I can see lots of opportunity using the group feature in the app to control lights by room. Very highly recommended.

This is an update to a previous report. I thought I'd managed to get the two bulbs working, after a lot of resets, switching off and on from the light switch . They answered to Alexa, without any apparent problems and all seemed ok. However, they're in the spare room, so I don't use them every day. If they're not used for a couple of days, they just lose their connection and Alexa tells me that they're "not responding". They show up dead on my router and they're showing "device is unresponsive" on the Alexa app. Also showing "offline" on the Lepro LampUK app. I try the on/off routine and maybe I can get them back for a while, but I'm not inclined to keep doing that. I'm beginning to wonder if there is some deficiency which means that they can't hold their connection if powered from a dimmer switch, even though the switch is on top brightness? Any help appreciated.

Great set of lights. Very easy to set up and worked perfectly with Alexa.

These bulbs work as you would expect once they are set up but it getting there was painful. Firstly, I wasn’t able to set the up through the Alexa app, it just wouldn’t work despite several attempts so I had to get the LE app and set them up here. The first bulb took four attempts before it worked, the second one was similar, the third one wouldn’t connect at all and sits unused (I tried the resetting procedure) but the fourth bulb did connect first go. I then had to set up each bulb through the Alexa app which was relatively straight forward. After that they work no problem. But, after the power cuts during storm Eunice I had to set them up again. All the settings were lost and when they are in set up mode they flash wildly which is irritating. I have one Philips Hue which is more expensive but it just works without all the faff of these LE versions.

Las bombillas funcionan perfectamente, el proceso de configuracion no es dificil pero en los puntos negativos pondre el porque, la gama de colores es buena, calidad de luz mas que aceptable y la interaccion con alexa funciona de lujo. Como punto negativo dire que no entiendo como un producto de nueva generacion “inteligente” no soporta 5ghz, cuando es un estandar desde hace mas de 10 años. Esto hace que con routers modernos tengas que cambiar la configuracion de seleccion inteligente y crear lo doble red, una 2.4 y una de 5....con todo lo que conlleva luego para el resto de aparatos wifi. Por lo demas mas que contento ya que una vez configuradas el rendimiento es impecable
