Bad Product but vendor refunded and honored the warranty
Does NOT work with 220VAC as they advertise; I ordered 50 units on a project and all failed. The coil is opened after only 8 hours. I returned 24 of them and tried some at 120 VAC wasting a lot of my time and money. If any fails at 120VAC then I want a refund. Unit seems to work up to 239 hours at 120VAC so far, but not at 220.

Seems rugged for my use
I installed this in my Honda HSS928 snow blower so I could keep track of run time for oil changes. Works well so far.

Failed at .7 of an hour
I installed this on an Eastwood QST 30/60 compressor to monitor hours for oil and filter changes. I wired it in so that it only counted time when the actual pump motor was running. Straight forward wiring and it was working. Unknown to me, when I checked this meter recently to see how many hours had been logged, it was at .7. So, I released the air in the tank and ran a full cycle to see if it would accumulate any time, it did not. Verified wiring, all was good. When you buy an hour meter, you expect it to work, but in parity with what other customers on here reported, it failed. Mine seemed to have failed sooner than most, but what is the point of an unreliable hour meter? I'm guessing it should have somewhere around 10 hours recorded at this point. I'd avoid this unit and anything that looks similar. Since it was dead, I did take it apart to see if anything showed signs of electrical failure inside, but nothing looked abnormal.

Works but non-standard mounting
From the description, you'd think this would mount in a round hole. It does not. It has a weird flanged backplate that makes it very, very difficult to mount. Otherwise, it seems to work.

Worked perfect for my new air compressor
I bought a new air compressor and wanted to add an hour meter to assist with maintenance in the future. This meter was ideal because it was a decent size, easy to read, NOT battery powered like the cheap models and AC compatible from 110v - 240v. That power capability was important in case I decide to change the compressor wiring from 110v to 220v in the future. I bought a small electronics “project box” from Amazon, drilled a 2 inch hole in the top of the box for the hour meter and wired it to the motor side of the pressure switch with 12 gauge, 240v capacity stranded wire. When I turn the compressor on, it powers the hour meter and I know when to change pump oil rather than guessing. This hour meter works well, looks good and was inexpensive. It’s hard wired, has no battery and won’t die in a few years. Hope that helps!

Easy set up, works well
This charming hour meter came here to meet a dozer, and now they're inseparable. A classic love story. As preventative maintenance is best done based on hours worked, this was ordered to replace a deceased hour meter. It's a simple, two-wire install and we're back at it merrily dozing away. The time seems to be accurate and easy to read. Good product.
