Works well, but gets very hot.
I have a spare 512gb m.2 from a broken laptop and decided to use it on my Nvidia Shield Pro but needed an external m.2 enclosure hence why I bought this. Next day delivery, fairly decent packaging, super easy to follow instructions and it comes with a small screw driver and an included thermal pad for what reason I don't know as I don't think the actual thermal pad does anything as it does not make contact with the housing, you can tell when you slide the whole thing together that the usually tacky thermal pad is not touching anything and there is no included heatsink which attaches to it so Its a little weird they include something that really is not doing anything? Beside the random thermal pad the overall installation process was done in about 60 seconds and connected to the PC via the included USB-C/A cable you can switch between them depending on what you are connecting this to. I then proceeded to format the drive in windows and then dumped a load of content on to the drive via my computers front USB 3.0 port. 70gb of data took around 12 minutes approximately to copy over, I assume a lot of smaller files might take longer but this was video and audio files.I then connected the device to the Nvidia Shield Pro, turned everything on and loaded up Kodi and the drive was instantly recognized and worked flawlessly. The overall build quality is good, the external housing is made from what looks like aluminium, the internals are plastic but of a decent quality and the included cable is braided and of a nice quality. Connectivity overall is spot on no issues with either my windows pc, nvidia shield pro, or any of my other android tv's they all detect the device and it works no problem. The only thing that is concerning is the fact that it gets REALLY HOT when you transfer a load of date to it, I mitigate this by resting it on the top of my computers case and let the case fans cool it down, but it does get very hot to the touch, how this affects the longevity of the drive and the enclosure I will clearly find out in the future after more usage.Overall though super happy with the product and I do plan on getting another and adding a larger storage capacity drive to it for using it with the steam deck when out and about.

Nicely priced compact drive enclosure
The product is very good value for your money and the NVME chip sits securely inside, there instructions and a screwdriver that you need to carry out the installation and when the unit is connected as a backup the transfer speeds are acceptable.

Fantastic
I have not heard of this brand before, I bought it because of the price, it is lower than other makes by quite a bit. I installed a Fanxiang M.2 SSD - 1TB SSD on it, no problem. I tested it on my Laptop SSD via a USB C port the speed is very good. Write speed was over 500 mb/s and read speed was over 900 mb/s. I am more than happy to say the least and I definitely recommend this product.

Very Good 👍
Bought a more expensive one, sent it back didn't work, ordered this one works perfect, I upgraded my ssd drive so now using my old drive as a external ssd drive with this. Only minus point it gets hot, I cured this with a USB fan 👍.

Poor quality and no thermal pad provided.
Very poor quality, compared to other enclosures I have from Orico. No thermal pad was provided so the drive will overheat.
