Amazing electric toothbrush
Brush came in a very nice box, reminded me of opening a new phone. The tooth brush itself is very sleek, has some weight to it, and a very nice design. I couldn't wait to open it and try it out! The tooth brush comes with as described: 3 different brushes one for gums, cleaning and whitening. The cleaning one gets excess food off effortlessly, the gums head was very soft no pain when cleaning the gums and the whitening head does a great job at scrubbing the surface. Each head has a small metal plate in them, when the device is turned on the head moves in an up and down motion it is not static vibrating. The brush has 3 different modes but they're all very powerful, it comes with a charger that you can recharge the brush. Be aware that the charging port is under the toothbrush so you may have to lay it on its side. The button to turn it on is touch sensitive it's not a pressing button. You have to keep your finger on it for a few seconds to activate it out of airplane mode and to start the first mode. The lights even show how much battery life there is on the brush. I highly recommend keeping the box and the little guide to help you.

Best toothbrush ever!
I've tried so many different electronic toothbrushes, most fall short motor wise; not the Laifen. This toothbrush surpass even my most recent two Oral B purchases (which I was extremely disappointed with). Love the customized application for vibration, ossilation, and head rotation. I was absolutely blow away! I even got my eleven year old to participate in a round of oral teeth care, which I'm a big fan of. He enjoyed the custom settings and how he got his own choice for mode. I think my teeth are cleaner than when the dentist does them. No gum discomfort. Definitely worth the money. Easy to setup, and get going. Took less than a minute or so. Charged fast. As for whitening, I will give it a few more brushes and see before I judge. Sometimes stains are deep, some are surface level, but I still like a super good brushing. Definitely love this toothbrush, best I've ever owned. Highly recommend it over any of the others. I sprung for the fully loaded metal one. Easier to clean and doesn't absorb bacteria.

Not Just Hype!!
Pros: Premium packaging and presentation High-quality build - not flimsy plastic Compact and travel friendly Excellent oscillation technology App-controlled settings for customization Easy to store charging cable Stylish color options Reasonably priced Includes a nice travel case Cons: App control may feel unnecessary to some Stainless steel version shows fingerprints easily As a longtime Philips Sonicare user, I was simply looking for a secondary toothbrush to keep in my motorhome. I didn't expect to be this impressed by the Lain electric toothbrush! From the moment I opened the box, I could tell this was a quality product. The packaging is so well-designed and sturdy that I almost didn't want to discard it. It's clear the company takes pride in its product and wants to make a great first impression. The toothbrush it'self feels solid and well made. It's shorter than my Sonicare, which makes it perfect to take along with you. Plus, it has a travel case - bonus! One of my favorite features is the charging cable. It's flexible, easy to store, and magnetically attaches to the device. This also makes it convenient for packing/travel. The brush's performance is where it really shines. The oscillation technology is outstanding - it actually moves in a brushing motion rather than just vibrating like other models. Fair warning...don't turn it on before it's in your mouth or there will be toothpaste everywhere! The app lets you control the intensity and brushing duration. While I personally would have preferred these settings on the device itself, I understand we're in a tech driven world now, and some users may appreciate the app integration. The color options are very nice - although if you are OCD like I am, I would not opt for the stainless steel version - its a fingerprint magnet. Overall, this toothbrush exceeded my expectations! While I was originally looking for a secondary toothbrush for travel, I have quickly changed my mind. I have purchased a second Laifen, now I have one in both my home and the motorhome. I highly recommend this toothbrush - you will not be disappointed!

Toothbrush is awesome. App is concerning
This toothbrush matches what a lot of YouTubers rave about it for. The unboxing experience is just like an apple product unboxing with super smooth and satisfying pull tabs. Even the charging cable is wound around paper like an iPhone cable is. The toothbrush feels solid too. It is more compact than a Phillips sonic care which is why I wanted to try it out. Also the price at about $80 for a metal aluminum handle is way less than I paid for my sonic care. The default modes are fine although I think the 30s timer feature should be enabled by default. The instructions inform you to download the app to setup any settings. Upon downloading the app which claimed it does not collect any data on the iOS App Store you immediately realize it does actually collect user data. The app is also developed by an entity that is in all foreign characters I cannot read. This does not instill a lot of confidence in the reputation of the app. If you say your app collects not user data then I’d expect an app that talks to my toothbrush over Bluetooth and does not more than let me send updates settings back to the toothbrush. Sadly you must enter a phone number or email to get a temporary code that lets you into the app. Then you can search for tooth brushes and find yours. Once you do you have to fill out a profile. So profile picture, user/name, and even your date of birth. I’m sorry but why does a toothbrush need to know how old I am? Everything else seems like normal user account setup or even associating the toothbrush to a particular user. The age field and even profile picture is excessive and is not needed at all. Now onto the tooth brush settings: You can have the tooth brush indicate every 30 seconds it’s time to clean a different area so all areas of your mouth get an even cleaning. That’s nice but should be on by default Next you can customize the vibrations, oscillation range and speed You can set these for each of the 3 modes. There is also a high frequency mode that vibrates at high frequencies. You would not believe how fast this toothbrush can vibrate. It makes Phillips sonic care seem like a toy. It can go so fast it makes you start to wonder if it is safe for it to go that fast. After brushing my immediate reaction was, wow, my mouth feels super clean and nice. I don’t feel like my toothpaste left a layer behind. Everything just feels super clean. It’s like a clean feeling you have just after visiting the dentist. It’s like super clean feeling. I think the oscillation really does help and makes brushing my teeth super easy and quick. Overall if you want a squeaky clean brush that can be super gentle and super powerful this toothbrush seems like a good option. For how nice it is, the price seems reasonable. Curious how long they last with their app not doing so well on the App Store.

GREAT FOR A FEW MONTHS THEN A NIVCE LOOKING PAPERWEIGHT (UPDATED)
It's a shame that i have to leave such a poor review.. the potential is there. The lain toothbrush when its working is amazing, like many others here i agree it cleans teeth better then any electric toothbrush i have owned, and i have owned my faire star of philips $200+ toothbrushes. The problem with lain is its reliability and its absolutely awful customer service.. I had one toothbrush for my florida home it worked great for 3 months then started needing to be charged every two weeks.. Lauren REFUSED to do anything about it.. At the same time i ordered a mother one for my NY home it arrived not working, lain made me jump through so many hoops to refund it ... i just ordered another from amazon and dealt with the refund on the first one over the next TWO MONTHS when lain finally refunded my money. The new one has been great for 6 months about a month ago it suddenly needed to be charged every 3-4 weeks, and now a month later it takes 2 days to charge..(if i charge for a full 24 hours it wont work, if i charge for 48 hours it will hold a charge for about 7-10 days. In addition the brush heads have gone from $23 for 6 back in march to $30 for 6 in less then 6 months. The technology when working gets 5 stars, the overall value 1 star, and the customer service and reliability ZERO stars.. Unfortunately a tooth brush that i planned to buy as gifts for my entire family and friends has fallen way short of expectations after a short period of time... FYI amazon/laifen is not allowing you to review this unless you are a verified user, and that stops after 6 months so if you haven't received it in the first 6 months you cant,.... and guess what it starts to fail after six months so likely why you aren't seeing more frustrated poor reviews regarding the toothbrush and the brand overall.. I recommended this to my dentist ands staff and many are finding the same issues as i have experienced.. Not sure if the newer USBC model is any better but as far as im concerned Lauren should be doing a far better job at customer service not hifding behind international emailing ... LAIFEN REPLACED MY BRUSH WITH THE NEWER USBC MODEL.. MUCH THICKER, BIGGER AND HEAVIER THEN THE ALUMINUM VERSION.. LOST THE PREMIUM FEEL. WOUDLDNT BUY THE PLASTIC VERSION AND DOESNT LOOK LIKE THE ALUMINUM VERSON IS BEING MADE ANYMORE.. TRYING TO RETURN FOR A REFUNUD BUT OF COURSE JUST MORE LAIFEN JUMPING THROIUGH HOOPS ...

My search is over, what a great toothbrush.
Coming from an Oral B (with way too many settings/features) I really wanted something simple to use again with great battery and some nice power. This is exactly what I was looking for. Battery lasts well over a month, the app is straight forward and adds some more minor functionality and the brush heads are nice and not overly expensive to replace. If I could give any cons to this toothbrush it would be that i accidently activate airplane mode too often (or I did at the start). This is done by holding in the power button for a few seconds. Also the brush heads that came with it, when they the backside hits your teeth you get a very unpleasant feeling. I see this was fixed with new cushioned brush heads, but these should really be shipped with the toothbrush in my opinion. So many Pro's to list but here are a few key ones. -Packaging really feels like you just bought an "Apple toothbrush" (packaged well) -Nice "braided cable" included -So many ways to customize the vibration intensity level. -Easy to use app -3 Brush heads included (all different styles to try out) My search is over, I hope this toothbrush lasts me quite a while!

Sleek, Versatile & Satisfying
After purchasing other brands of electric toothbrushes over the years I'm glad that I took a chance on the Laifen Wave. It has excellent build quality and when paired with the app and capability for various user modes, the Wave goes beyond your everyday toothbrush by allowing for gentle to strong nearly clinical cleaning. Another plus was the addition of the three brush head types, this can be helpful in deciding upon future replacements. For anyone reading this that may be considering buying you won't be disappointed. A bit of advice, exercise caution and start off with soft bristles on low settings, especially if you've had dental work or braces. Give yourself time to adjust because this unit can be surprisingly strong. Also treat yourself to the travel case, it's the perfect companion for portability. Kudos to Laifen's engineering and development team. I'm looking forward to what's next a waterflosser perhaps?

Powerful toothbrush that truly cleans
I'm an ex-Philips electric toothbrush customer. After about a year of use, my Philips Sonicare toothbrush head started to wobble. I checked YouTube and it appears there are many other customers who suffer with this problem. There are videos on how to disassemble the toothbrush and try to fix it yourself. Why did I bother? I bought replacement brush heads and didn't want to lose my "investment". So, what do I do - buy a replacement Sonicare in order to continue using my already purchased brush heads or abandon the product??? I decided to drop Sonicare since their product dropped me. Enter the Laifen Wave Electric Toothbrush. First plus - it can use the Sonicare brush heads I had previously purchased - Score. Second plus - it cleans MUCH better than any other toothbrush I have ever used. Third plus - the replacement brush heads are MUCH LESS expensive than the Sonicare brushes. Fourth plus - customization of the toothbrush's settings. You can set the speed, angle of the oscillation, set your own brushing timer, and toggle the 30-second vibration on/off - brilliant. Fifth plus - solid construction without a wobbly brush head. Sixth plus - long lasting battery that charges via a USB-C charger rather than a dedicated, proprietary charger. Seventh plus - beautiful, ergonomic design - it fits my hand perfectly and is easy to hold with my fingertips. It is very well sealed and I have no worries about getting it wet. Eighth plus - made and packaged with tremendous care. The brush heads come in sealed capsules. After using the Laifen Wave Electric Toothbrush my teeth feel very clean, fresh, and smooth. It reminds me of the way my teeth feel after a professional cleaning by my dentist/hygienist. No other toothbrush (manual or electric) has ever provided me with this level of clean. I actually look forward to brushing because it cleans so well. I advise you to buy additional brush heads. Because the toothbrush brushes about 60,000 cycles per minute, the brush heads wear out faster than when I used the Sonicare. This is not a quality issue with the brush heads. It is because the brushing intensity is much greater than other toothbrushes. The Sonicare brush heads wore out just as fast when I used them with the Laifen. It makes sense. The toothbrush is doing a lot more work. That's a good thing. It's also good that the Laifen replacement brush heads are very reasonably priced. i replace my brush head every month. i have read some comments regarding dental pain when using the Laifen Wave Electric Toothbrush. I have not experienced this at all. I have accidentally bumped the brush head into my teeth and have not had a problem or pain. If you feel pain when you tap your tooth, you should probably see a dentist. I have also read some comments about the need for the app. The app is used to set the customization features of the toothbrush. Once you dial in your brushing preferences, you will likely not use the app again except to make changes. I really like being able to configure the toothbrush's settings to my preferences. This is a major benefit. Overall, I rate the Laifen Wave Electric Toothbrush as the best toothbrush I have ever owned. I plan to buy several more as gifts for my family members. Dental hygiene and care are very important to me and this toothbrush has become an essential element in preserving my health. Update: One other big plus for the Laifen - it doesn't have a "pressure indicator". This is a good thing. The point of failure on both of my Sonicare toothbrushes is the wobbly "pressure" feedback stem. Here's the bottom line - the reason most people press too hard while brushing is because the toothbrush doesn't make their teeth feel clean. In contrast, the Laifen makes my teeth feel clean and I have no urge to press harder on my teeth while brushing. In fact, the Laifen is so powerful that I just let it do its job and there is no need for pressure.
