This item was inexpensive and worked well. It makes it easy to clean by retracting the bristles. Better than the last one I had. Worked well on my cat.

I purchased this a few months ago for my cats. They absolutely love this brush & come running when they see it. This is actually the BEST brush I’ve ever used on them. You just push a button and the brush comes out. It’s very thorough at removing fur! You just push the button again and can easily put the excess fur in the garbage

It’s a decent brush overall, but despite being listed for short-haired dogs, I don’t think it’s the best fit. My dog has short hair with a double coat and sheds consistently, and this brush didn’t work as well as I’d hoped. It seems better suited for dogs with longer fur. I ended up giving it to my mom, whose dog has longer hair, and it worked much better for her. After she used this brush for the first time on her dog she got a ton of fur off. So it does work well for long haired dogs.

Works great! When you click off the bristles, you are left with a nice, neat rectangle of dog fur that stays together, which is easier to clean up and doesn't fly away like fur from other similar tools.

My dog is 8 years old, Golden Retriever / Border Collie mix. Medium hair length. I used to use 'the better shedder' which is really effective, but once the blade gets dull and it's a bit rusty (from being outside), it's not as great. Plus you have to pick off the hair with your hands. This is a great brush. You brush the dog, then pop the button and the bristles retract. Then simply blow the hair away (I brush her outside). Also this seems to get deeper into the coat; i've noticed what seems like dry skin also coming off. Good purchase!

Amazing thought put into this. Comb does vary good job. Then the best part. You retract the comb into the hand held device and it leaves all that hair to easily wipe off and discard. Simple gadget but brilliant Cost effective also.

I have been brushing my pets for six decades, and this is hands-down the best grooming tool ever invented. The design is a game-changer—the hair pops right out into the wastebasket with zero struggle. Most importantly, my dog finally enjoys the process; he thinks he's getting a massage. Absolutely love it!
