Perfect light up puck, once you get the hang of it
Some people complain it's too hard or cumbersome to swap out the battery. But honestly, if they didn't use this system and instead relied on a switch somewhere on the puck, then the complaints would be of failed switches and broken pucks. It take me less than 30 seconds to get two pucks going them (we have the red and green) and once they are on it's hours of fun on the outdoor rink at night. They shine bright and feel great on the stick.

Cool gimmick, bad design.
THIS WILL NOT HOLD UP TO A SLAPSHOT!!! I repeat, they will not hold up to a slapshot. It’s a cool puck, but the cover needs to be stronger. Every couple of times i slap the puck the cover will come off. I don’t know what all the other reviews are saying, but it will not hold up to a slapshot. I lost the cover to my battery housing and now the puck is useless.

Light up puck
Awesome puck. Glides exceptionally well on the ice. Loading and unloading the battery is a challenging task. Not sure yet how many hours will be in the battery, but came with several extra which was nice.

Great product, could use a few improvements
This product works great for what I need (ice hockey in the dark, finding my puck when it gets sent flying into a snow pile). It is bright and durable. They send lots of extra batteries and a carry case with a tool to help get the batteries in place. I wish that there was a way to leave the battery in place and still turn the puck on and off. It would just make it a little less fiddly to use. Typically I put the battery in while I'm loading my gear in the car so I don't have to mess with it at the lake.

Crazy fun!! Worth the money!
These things are frigging cool! Especially fun with little hockey players but fun for any age. I’d like to see a removable/rechargeable battery with charging port on future models though. Coin batteries are not good to have around little kids.

Bought for my grandsons to use on their outdoor rink. Great fun at night. Has an smell to it but when your playing who cares.

Nothing like it out there!
If you play night hockey, like we do - this thing is a must have. Had them now for many seasons - beat the crap out of it and had it under water many times (we play pond Hockey). This is a gem. The price is gone through the roof now that there is no competition, but still, it's a must have for night play under the stars..
