This is a very good table , desk. It's a major pain to assemble. Don't even try to use a screw driver to put the top on. Oh no, get a drill and be careful. The screws are cheap and may strip out with too much speed or pressure. Recommend drilling a pilot hole first. Measure carefully when you set the tip. The old saying about measure twice cut once; measure 3 times before you start to drill pilot holes and make sure to measure before you get it set in place. Bought a second table to use as a desk. Maybe a pain to assemble butthe sturdiness of the table and the price makes the trouble a but less.Supplement for the seller, you need to pack these a lot more to prevent damage to the ends. Both of the tables I received had corner damage. I was able to hide the damage with a magic marker but I should not have had to. The packages are heavy, bulked, and difficult to handle. They are manhandled in shipping, draged, droped, and general miss handled. More and thicker packing would prevent this damage.

After I had the desk completed put together, I turned it over and there was a palm sized chunk missing out of the top on one end. I found it in the bottom of the box. The top was not predrilled so trying to get the top on was a nightmare. My only option was to do a return, not be shipped a new top so I'm just going to try to fix it the best I can. As difficult as it was to get together- I'm not taking it apart, trying to rebox it, driving it to UPS and waiting for something I needed quickly for my classroom. Very disappointed.

These desks are incredibly cheap, which is exactly why I bought it, but I at minimum expect them to come undamaged and with properly drilled holes for setting it up. The damage to them is purely cosmetic, so I have no plans to return it, but one of the supports for the desk had a mismatched hole so that I can't put one of the screws through it, it definitely will mean the structural integrity is compromised, but not so much that it can't support, my two monitors. I won't buy this again, but this desk will get the job done.

I wanted what was advertised on the picture, a marble design desktop. but got a flat black one instead. I was very disappointed with this. However, it seems to be a good desk, and being disabled it's too much of a hassle for me to return it by going to a post office or ups store or fedex to drop it off.I haven't put it together just yet. It should be mentioned in the ad itself that there are no screw holes in the tabletop. So, I have to figure out for myself how to put this together. I'm not Bob the builder, so this will be a new experience for me. There aren't even little dots on the wood to indicate where to drill. Anyways, it does seem like a sturdy desktop, heavy and solid, despite a small chip in the corner. But the piece was still there, so I'll wood glue it. Why not? I have drill my own holes. If I didn't get it for as cheap as I did, I would be very angry (see image for very angry).lol I think it's funny, perhaps it's the table makers' way of getting back at people because of too many complaints about how these desks have misaligned screw holes or something. I don't blame them lol4 stars overall, for no screw holes, incorrect desktop, and . . . whatever else may come up. Peace-out!
