Will it easily bed into a 90 /180 degree angle?** A: Yes. I just used this when waterproofing a shower using Redguard. I first used mesh tape and mortar on all joints and corners ( inside and out). Then used Redguard on all surfaces, with the membrane fabric embedded in all joints and corners. The fabric folds easily around outside and inside corners. **Q: Can I use this on a previously cracked concrete floor (over which I will pour leveler) before laying down tile to prevent cracking from movement?** A: Hello EthericOne, Thank you for sending an inquiry. Yes, indeed! You can use the XFasten Fiberglass Waterproofing Membrane Fabric sheet to prevent the concrete crack from affecting the tile after installation. This Waterproofing Membrane Sheet not only prevents moisture and mold from seeping through, but its optimal thickness can also provide some form of shock absorption to your floor. Although your is a new and improvised use-case, we are sure that the Fiberglass Waterproofing sheet will be great for your application. However, please note that this is a non-adhesive tape. To make it adhere completely to a surface, you would need to apply a waterproofing liquid membrane to it. However, if you just want a fiberglass sheet that can take care of the crack on the concrete floor and has a pre-applied adhesive, then we would recommend our Drywall Repair Tape. They are made of fiberglass mesh and will also work perfectly in preventing the cracked concrete floor from affecting the newly installed tile. You can check out the Fiberglass Drywall Repair Tape here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07V3LMCDV We hope that we have answered your question, EthericOne. Please don't hesitate to contact us should you have any further inquiries. Have a nice day ahead! **Q: Do you put this on with thin set or can you use redgaurd to adhere it??** A: Hello Brandon, Thank you for that inquiry. We recommend using Redguard or any other waterproofing membrane solution brands to adhere the XFasten Waterproofing to the surface. Our tape is compatible with all leading and known waterproofing membranes. We also offer a larger and wider waterproofing membrane sheet variant that covers a larger surface area, thus making it easier to apply, not to mention much more economical. You can check out our large Waterproofing membrane sheet variant on the link below: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07J1SCSBR We hope that we have answered your question, Brandon. Please don't hesitate to contact us should you have any further inquiries. Have a nice day ahead! **Q: Is this product Adhesive backed??** A: Hello Ebubba, As is with all other membrane fabric tapes, the XFasten Fiberglass Waterproofing Membrane has no adhesive in it. It is meant to be used with a substrate for waterproofing. We hope that we were able to answer your question. If you have any other inquiries, then please don't hesitate to reach out to us through our Amazon storefront. Thank you and have a beautiful day ahead! ## Frequently Bought Together - XFasten Waterproofing Membrane Sheet, 6” x 75 Ft Shower Waterproofing Membrane Tape for Underlayment Tile, EPDM Underlayment, Cement Board Tape - USG DUROCK Brand Liquid Waterproofing Membrane 1 Gallon --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/63995375-waterproofing-membrane-sheet-6-x-75-ft-shower-waterproofing-membrane](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/63995375-waterproofing-membrane-sheet-6-x-75-ft-shower-waterproofing-membrane) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
