Great for Lao and Thai cooking that depends on a good fish sauce for flavor. Also great in a lot of other cooking and many you wouldn't think of adding fish sauce, but it brings in a lot of umami without the fish flavor. Try it in stocks, chili, vinaigrette, roast, pasta sauce, steak/chicken/pork/lamb sauces, bloody mary's, and where ever your imagination takes you.

I love this fish sauce. Used it during my first Whole30. I will continue to use it now that I am doing 90% Whole30. Tastes great!

Fish sauce is a must-have umami ingredient. With the exception of hard to find and expensive super-premium aged and/or squid fish sauces, Red Boat regular is the mellowest and most flavorful you'll find.

I use this whenever I want to add an umami flavor profile to whatever I’m making. Whether it’s ground meats, stews, etc. I’m using it. The smell is pungent at first but as you cook and add other spices it lightens up.
