My favourite gel. Doing the job

The first time I have got my own nails to last and not peel at all for TWO WEEKS, which is when I redo them due to growing out. Now the time I spend doing my manicure is worth it because it lasts. Buff the nail surface with a nail file, scrub with nail prep alcohol solution on a lint-free wipe, apply nail dehydrator then nail primer, and then apply this (without a base coat), then colour coats, then top coat. I use it to strengthen my nails and make the manicure last. Takes me two hours but that is the same amount of time as going to the nail tech (including driving) and a fraction of the price. It is quite difficult to spread but I hold my hand upside-down to get more-or-less the right shape (peak running down the middle) like my nail tech does and then file it a bit afterwards. I assume that the strength of the finished product means that it has to be a bit difficult to work with and I am more than happy to deal with that.

I always buy this brand because it’s easy to use, never get allergic reactions, it’s durable and very pretty. 10/10!! I have used this brand for years and it’s amazing!

Ok , it self levels , it’s strong ,it’s thick but moves well . Usually use Base one but last batch was terrible didn’t last a week after curing . It does hurt when curing more than I’ve ever experienced (been doing own nails (gel) 10 yrs . Might try the mouse gel next time…. Wish professionals could advise best gel to use to build .

I took the photos in daylight so you could see the true color of the gel, I did put a top coat on but used the builder gel as my nail color. To me it looks more beige with some peachy undertones, you would need to make the nails unreasonably thick to get them to be the color that is in the pot but that is typical to colored builder gel. I previously got a pink color from Victoria Vynn and really loved it, this size pot lasted me about a year when using mainly that gel whenever I did extensions. I find this to be one of the best gels I have tried because even when I have made really thin and flat nails that go against extension physics (but look better and more natural irl) they have been strong and not break, while also being super easy to file, it tends to self level quite quickly so you also need to work quick and do some final manipulations before curing to ensure the shape is right. The only thing I don't like is that the gel is quite transparent (about 50% opacity), so on the nail bed it looks quite transparent while the free edge looks more opaque, almost like a peach French nail? Other than that I love these gels, will be trying more colors in the future.

Purchased this and used with my uv/led lamp - could not get it to cure for the life of me. Stopped after 30mins Borrowed a friends lamp assuming mine had broken and the same it wouldn’t cure. I decided to go with one nail (uncurled - sticky and tacky) it lifted within a few hours I know for sure the product works and both lamps using gel polish and curing it. so it must be the product to my knowledge. Haven’t contacted seller for issue to be resolved
